Unnamed Road, 1009, Skopje
Been here?
Large, free, level parking lots beside the river, cycle path and fortress, suitable for even the largest campervans. The city is reachable along the river, with Skopje’s centre about a 20 min walk away. It is generally calm, but Friday-night music from a bar across the river can continue until early morning. There is shade, plenty of space and no services, while litter is common.

Very calm, quiet place to spend the night. Plenty of space— we were the only ones there during the night. It does have a fair amount of trash but that’s to be expected for a free lot. Much better than some of the other spaces in Skopje. gg ez
A car park that does not look inviting at first. Pieces of burst tyres, signs of joyriding, rubbish... Despite all that, we spent two days and two nights there without any problems. Some shade is available. No services. You can reach the city via the landscaped riverbanks, about a 20-minute flat walk to the entrance of the bazaar and Macedonia Square.
For me, this free car park was perfect: it was in the shade, and I felt safe because lots of people come here to do sport by the river. I spent two nights there over a weekend; the music didn’t bother me, but it was loud.
Good spot, with a 20-minute walk along the river to Macedonia Square. Generally peaceful, but on Friday night loud music from the bar across the river continued until early morning. A pity, as it would otherwise be a good quiet spot. I was there for four days, so choose which nights you stay.
