Unnamed Road, PA44 7PP, Ardnave
Been here?
A flat grass parking area on private farmland, beside coastal walks, wildlife and a sheltered bay for swimming. Nights are peaceful, while daytime visitors use the small area regularly. There are no facilities, and campers must not block access or other daytime users.

Excellent spot, with spectacular coastal walk starting/finishing right there. Peaceful at night, during the day visitors keep arriving and disappearing behind the dunes. Sunset over the loch is a bonus.
Spent a lovely quiet night here. Would recommend. We walked around Ardnave Point and found some great beaches.
Late June 2023. Lovely spot when the ground is dry! Great coastal walks from here with excellent wildlife spotting. Seals, Hen Harrier, Golden Eagle, Chough etc. The small parkup area was in heavy daytime use by locals and tourists alike when we stayed but no other overnighters. It would be sad to lose this place so PLEASE do not overcrowd it and prevent others parking their cars during the day.
Nice quiet spot right next to a small loch and a farm. No facilities. Cows roam freely inc. bull. Great spot to walk the coast path. Designated car park is grass
