A large, free, asphalt Park and Ride parking area near the university, with no services. It is convenient for nearby shops and has easy motorway access, but is often very full because caravans, trailers, and motorhomes are parked there permanently. One-night stays are generally suitable, and nights can be quiet despite the nearby road. Damage and theft have also been reported.

Very well-located parking area. It is quite full, but shops are quickly accessible and the motorway is also very easy to reach without driving all around Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, a lot is also damaged or stolen.
Basically suitable for overnight stays. Unfortunately, it was very full in January 2026, apparently because it is used as a long-term parking area for caravans, trailers, and local motorhomes. Really a matter for the authorities!
Large paved parking area, free and without facilities. Many caravans are parked permanently, so there are not many spaces available. Close to the road, but the night was quiet; fine for sleeping one night, nothing more.
Large, relatively level parking area, but not easy to find a space because apparently all Düsseldorf residents park their motorhomes here. We stayed one night anyway and took a taxi from here to the Caravan Messe. No worse than staying there directly.
