Camping La Buganvilla is a campsite near Marbella with a swimming pool, clean facilities, bar and bus connections to the city. The beach is less than 1 km away, while the centre is about 7km away; a bus stop is around 10 min from the entrance. The bar is open from 9 to 21, and one stay cost 25 € with ACSI for 1 motorhome and 2 people. Pitches and internal roads can be uneven, narrow or damaged, and the disposal area is awkward to use.

Overall, they were very friendly and helpful. We think they could improve the cassette-emptying and fresh-water refill area by bringing everything together in one place.Translating
The site is very beautiful and offers a pool. Everyone is very friendly! The fact that it is not by the sea or near the city, and that Marbella beach is generally very rocky, is not the site's fault.Translating
Beautiful campsite near Marbella. There is a bus stop right nearby, but it is on a four-lane road. Large pool area and clean sanitary facilities. Recommended for two nights. The beach is across the road, a 15-minute walk away, with beach bars.Translating
It’s a good park located near Marbella. Near bus stations if you don’t want to move the caravan :). The pool is great and the bar is open from 9 to 21. All services are included
Located 7 km from the center. Bus number 220 stops 10 minutes' walk from the campsite entrance. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. We stayed two nights instead of one. The campsite roads need work because they are badly damaged. The sanitary facilities are old-fashioned but practical. The waste-disposal area is difficult to access for vehicles over 7 meters. At €23 per night, it remains reasonable for visiting the area.Translating
Excellent campsite with top-notch sanitary facilities. Well located, with the beach less than 1 km away and small supermarkets 70 meters away. Marbella city center is easy to reach by bike; follow Google Maps' cycle path along the sea. However, make sure you identify the dirt path section, as Maps does not indicate it on the return journey.Translating
Take an intensive driving course; it is very difficult to maneuver, parking is very uncomfortable, and don't even get me started on the waste-disposal area.Translating
Very friendly and helpful, sanitary facilities exceptionally clean, lovely pool, unfortunately closed today. Ideal for seeing Marbella: 300 meters on foot or 15 minutes by bus to the old town.Translating
Very warm welcome, and the person who gave us information was very helpful and friendly. Clean campsite, clean sanitary facilities, superb pool. We paid €25 for one motorhome and two people with ACSI. Recommended.Translating
Decent location, beside highway but we weren't disturbed by it. Very narrow roads, uneven pitches. Lots of long term campers. In our opinion not the most inspiring place to be. Facilities were clean and in good condition.
No problems. Fifteen minutes to the beach, five minutes to Carrefour.Translating
Very friendly staff. The pitch was reasonably level and gravel-covered, although partly somewhat muddy. The sanitary facilities were perfectly adequate and clean, with hot water for washing dishes, and you could shower as hot and as long as you wanted. The beach is a good 10-minute walk across the bridge. The proximity to the highway did not bother me, although we were parked close to it.Translating
Suitable for vans and panel vans. A few spaces are level, but leveling wedges—or preferably stabilizing legs—are recommended. The roads are extremely narrow, and when fully occupied it is a matter of millimeters with a 2.30-meter-wide motorhome. Ignore the one-way system and you will need good ground clearance. There are six or seven spaces for large vehicles, but they looked very much like long-term pitches and probably need to be booked well in advance.Translating
Decent location, about 15 minutes walk to the beach ( across motorway) and supermarkets. The site itself needs some love and attention. Roads need to be improved and pitches require some levelling. Toilets and showers are top class and staff are fantastic and very friendly. Good value for the area but really does need some improvements.
Very run-down and not really suitable for motorhomes. The gray-water and black-water disposal points are not in the same place. I strongly advise against it.Translating
Perfect bathrooms, a 10-minute walk from the beach, excellent facilities, and fair prices.Translating
The sanitary facilities are a bit old, and the electricity supply lacks power.Translating
Location close to the road, not very idyllic, but with good sanitary facilities. Friendly staff.Translating
We were looking for a campsite from which to visit Marbella. This one is ideally located because the bus stops right outside and brings you back in the evening. The staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities are very clean. The pool is pleasant, except for its location at road level, and the beach is frankly not very good.Translating
I am here and paid €88 for three nights with electricity, with an 8-meter motorhome and a trailer car. There was no extra charge for the trailer. Someone at reception speaks a little French. Large pool and bar, but no restaurant. Quiet.Translating
A few kilometers from Marbella, with a bus that is supposed to run every 30 minutes but actually comes whenever it feels like it. There is a pool and bar, but no supermarket. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. Unfortunately, it is impossible to sleep: there is noise in the pitches near the pool, and a rooster near the bungalows crows from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.Translating
A campsite with all the conditions necessary for a good stay, except for the prices charged. Good shade, a good pool, and good showers and toilets. Marbella is 5 km away. Bus station nearby.Translating
Lovely campsite for visiting Marbella. The beach is within walking or cycling distance, and Marbella is easy to reach by bus, with the stop a five-minute walk away, or by taxi. The campsite infrastructure is somewhat outdated, but the sanitary facilities are very new and clean. The restaurant and pool are also perfectly fine. Note that reservations should simply be made by phone; the booking module on the website does not seem to work properly.Translating
We paid €29.50 for one night as a couple in a van. That included electricity and all facilities. By far the best and cleanest showers and toilets we have encountered so far. Pool and bar is great too with cheap food. We struggled to find parking elsewhere with it being a sunday night and would not usually pay this price but we was desperate. Would be 5* if the price was lower.
I went to empty the waste water and refill, and it was very good: super-friendly staff and good service for €5. Recommended.
Easy to access when arriving from the north, but horrible from the south, involving crossing a private housing development. It is narrow, with vegetation scraping along the vehicle. It is the same inside the campsite: steep, with narrow roads and difficult turns except for vans. The black-water disposal point is just a hole in the ground. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities are clean and the water is very hot, even for washing dishes. The staff are very welcoming.
Very satisfied. Very friendly welcome, and easy access to the bus 50 meters away—the 220—to visit Marbella.
Three-night stay in a motorhome in May. Clean campsite and sanitary facilities, adequate pitch, and friendly welcome.
We had stayed here before, but we found it a little neglected this time. The pitches where you can park are full of potholes, and you cannot really see where one pitch ends. The restaurant also looked a bit untidy, with little choice on the menu. There was no pressure in the showers, and it took a long time for the water to get hot. Sorry, we were used to better from this campsite.
The site was perfectly fine. Hot, clean showers. Good for dog owners. We were only here for one night, but we would gladly return for a stopover.
We only went to change the water and refill. They charge €5 if you are not a guest. The disposal area is not very convenient to enter or leave, but it is appreciated because there are not many options nearby. The campsite looked very cozy and pleasant, although it is 5 km from Marbella.
Third time here and excellent value for money toilets are always kept clean by staff but sadly some people are animals when it comes to the toilets we always wonder if people would leave there own toilets like they leave campsite facilities. water hot good for bus links to Costa del Sol already booked for another visit.
stayed for a couple of nights, friendly staff clean shower/toilet block and bar area ( pool closed ) but looked clean , however the pitch was terrible just dirt it went everywhere, the electric hook up would be condemned in the UK very dangerous, the water drop was filthy even poo on the floor also people were filling tank with the same hose as toilet asking for trouble, 10 mins walk from beach
Overall, a good site, especially compared with other sites in the region. I cannot understand some reviewers' negative comments. The roads are not particularly wide, but they are no narrower than at most other sites. The pitches are generally quite large and clearly marked by boundary stones, although some are rather uneven.
Very warm welcome, very friendly.
All things considered, a good campsite, with clean sanitary facilities, although somewhat dated. I cannot give it five stars because the pitches are quite sloping. Friendly and helpful staff.
Looking for a challenge? This campsite offers an unforgettable maze experience, where narrow alleys designed for toy cars will test your driving skills. Low-hanging branches guarantee free scratches on your solar panels. Need camper service? Good luck finding it in this labyrinth. Bonus: water pressure so low, filling your tank takes only two hours. Truly an unforgettable experience!
one of the worst sites we have been to anywhere. yes the toilet and showers are new, access is atrocious unless you get on the bottom row by reception. All roads vary narrow, turning into most lanes is narrow too. The far side access road has a water channel causing a huge cambered dip. Signs of multiple vehicles grounding out as did we. Permanent residents in with camper spots reduce space too.
