Very quiet camping at this time. 21€ a night. Less than a kilometer from the beach (free). There is indeed a restriction on movement after 11 PM. Just so you know: the first part of the campsite, being downstream of the barrier, is not subject to this restriction. Chemical toilets, aging it’s true haha! No paper, with a showerhead serving as a bidet, why not! Bike rental: €5 a day or €20 a week.
We were here in the pre-season and were almost alone. Everything was fine for us. Great for cycling. The beach was being prepared: tractors were cleaning it and setting up parasols and sun loungers. What a shame.
Everything is fine here. In the pre-season not everything is open, but that is also okay. Price with ACSI: €19 for a camper, two people, and a dog, without electricity. Positive: apparently, due to the mosquito problem, there was an initiative that resulted in significantly fewer mosquitoes. Thank you.
Campsite in the middle of a pine forest. In October we were alone here and had the sanitary building to ourselves. The beach is a little farther away. Otherwise, there is not much nearby.
A quiet site for the off-season. You have to walk a little farther to the beach, but it is deserted in the morning. An excellent restaurant in town, 10 minutes on foot. We would come back.
Friendly welcome, pleasant staff, clean sanitary facilities. Good ACSI rate.
We wanted to spend a quiet night, and it delivered. €20.20 with ACSI, all-inclusive, with one shower. Standard beach at 1,500 meters, nothing to complain about. Friendly welcome.
The site itself was okay; the sanitary facilities were quite old but clean. At €36 per night, electricity and showers were not included—for about 25 kWh, €16. The problem was not the on-site entertainment noise, but rather a party nearby that kept us awake until around 3 a.m. The beach is about 15 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot. Once there, that was enough for us.
Pleasant campsite at a reasonable price; €0.50 for a hot shower. 14 km from Grosseto, doable by bicycle via the cycle path. Old but clean sanitary facilities; everything works. I recommend this campsite. The reception team is very kind.
The stay was disappointing: outdated sanitary facilities, small showers, and no hot water at the taps. Washing dishes with cold water; there is one hot-water tap. The washing machine only has a temperature setting. You can choose your own pitch. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the low and shoulder seasons are fine. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Cycling to Grosseto is via a new cycle path.
Excellent welcome! The owner speaks French. Restaurant and small grocery shop. One kilometer from the beach, with a cycle path.
Large pitches and the restaurant food is also good. That is about all. The sanitary facilities are outdated; some toilet/shower door frames are broken, or the doors simply do not close. Bicycle rental is available, but the bikes are run-down. Maintenance seems almost nonexistent. You repeatedly smell sewage, even though we were staying far from the toilets.
Beautiful shady campsite. Showers are time-limited. Wi-Fi is included for 10 minutes; packages can be purchased (€5/60 minutes). Access road is very uneven and not recommended for vehicles with low ground clearance. €21 for camper and two people.
The area is really beautiful. The campsite itself is also nice, with many pine trees. Unfortunately, the staff are unfriendly, the overnight stay is expensive (€29 per night excluding electricity and showers, including tourist tax), the sanitary facilities are run-down, and there is loud entertainment until late at night, until 2 a.m. Unfortunately, there are few better alternatives nearby, so we stayed for two nights.
Unfortunately relatively expensive: €26.50 for a van and two people. Loud music and annoying entertainment staff until midnight. Sanitary facilities not very appealing and a somewhat unfriendly welcome. Short walk to the beach and plenty of shade, but the rest is rather disappointing and too expensive. We still stayed two nights because the wild beach with driftwood is really beautiful.
