Lakeside rest area, short stay

The two-hour parking sign applies in the car park. In the adjacent forest above the steep bank, under the trees overlooking the river, it does not apply. Very beautiful camping spots.✦Translating

Good for a coffee/lunch break (there is also a café here). You can empty toilet waste into a soil pipe to the left of the toilets but it's not really suitable for getting rid of grey waste. ✦Translating

Three bullet holes in the toilet doors—two in the men's and one in the women's. Apparently people are unhappy with the condition of the toilets.✦Translating

Quiet parking area, with the possibility of emptying the toilet; no other services. Public toilets are present but very dirty. Otherwise, beautiful area with picnic tables and a view of the lake.✦Translating

The toilets are completely wrecked and filthy. The latrine dump is so full that it flows straight into the forest.✦Translating

This parking area has a “caravan waste disposal” on the left hand side of the toilet block. It is a 30cm pipe with a lid. If you have a bucket you can get rid of your grey waste into the same pipe with no issues. Rare place in Finland where you can do this. ✦Translating

We stayed for one night in winter without any problems, no service but nice✦Translating

Cleared of snow in winter. Maximum parking time is two hours, although in winter nobody probably cares. We only stopped briefly. The toilet was open, which is rare up here in winter.✦Translating

Adequate for an overnight stay. The road is busy even at night. Small motorhomes can also park in the adjacent forest by the water. It is quieter there, but there are many mosquitoes.✦Translating

Very nice place for a stop or an overnight stay. Lovely café and a great bonus is the possibility of emptying the chemical toilet. Lots of mosquitoes, as everywhere in Lapland.✦Translating

We took a short break and first bought some smoked salmon from two very nice ladies. We were also able to empty the chemical toilet. Very nice place.✦Translating
