This CAMPING-CAR PARK site in Lake Saint-Pardoux's leisure zone is wooded and shaded by tall trees. Network membership costs €5 (lifetime); overnight stays are €16, including water, waste and electric where available. Most spots slope and need levelling blocks; not all have electricity. The lake offers swimming and canoeing; a year-round pool (reduced winter hours), Santrop beach and adventure park are nearby. Walking and cycling trails crisscross the site; summer brings food trucks and entertainment. Payment terminals have recently proven unreliable.

We could not enter on 14 May 2026 because payment at the terminal to recharge the card was impossible. Even after recharging the card in the app, we could not get in. We really did not understand why. Another motorhome seemed to be in the same situation as us.Translating
Very nice motorhome area. We recommend it 100%. In the middle of nature and peaceful.Translating
The place is splendid, quiet and sheltered by large trees. Not all pitches have electricity, but the price is the same for everyone. Also note that some pitches have sockets, but at the service posts sometimes two out of four sockets are not working. They should not only collect the money but also maintain the facilities. Bring levelling blocks for the pitches at the back—large blocks!Translating
Nice area in the woods, with paths everywhere for walking or mountain biking. We walked around the lake, about 20 km. There is not much mobile coverage, which is a shame. Wi-Fi is available but the speed is poor.Translating
This is a great place to spend a day or two. I come here often as it’s not far from home and provides a wonderful rest from the norm for my dog and I. Great walks, lake swimming, canoeing. A nice swimming pool. Food trucks and free entertainment in the summer.
Very pleasant place. Levelling blocks are needed (large blocks in some areas) because it is sloping. Beautiful walks. Glass, plastic and household-waste bins. See the map at the entrance.Translating
Bring levelling blocks; the pitch is fairly small. Lots of passing traffic, as there is a walking path alongside the area. Beautiful walks to enjoy. Close to the beach, pool and more.Translating
Very pleasant and relaxing view and surroundings. Lots of activities in season. Small swimming pool open all year round, with reduced hours.Translating
This is a national camping car aire site. Lovely aire in beautiful surroundings, lots to do, walking, cycling, swimming in the lake, etc.€16 a night, includes electric, water and wastes. You can park up to 6 hours for €6, your payment card takes the full €16 and credits back €10 to your campaign car aire account. Would definitely come back.
Very popular area, fairly quiet and shaded (even too shaded in bad weather), with most pitches on a slope. The site is very pleasant, with many activities. The lake is superb and the walks are enjoyable. Long electrical extensions are very useful because the service posts are arranged rather oddly.Translating
The area looks well laid out, with beautiful pitches, but there was no space today. We arrived at 1 p.m. and had to turn back.Translating
Very nice area near the lake, beach and activities, with secluded spots where our animal friends can enjoy themselves. No shops; order your bread from the lakeside house. Delimited and shaded pitches, with enough space not to feel cramped. Despite the Camping-Car Park occupancy status saying full, half the pitches were unoccupied! A strategy to make people buy the Privilege Pack?Translating
Beautiful rest area under the shade of the trees, with slightly sloping parking. Great body of water for swimming, hiking around the lake, and more. Reasonable price.Translating
Hello, impeccable. Lots of things to do for everyone.Translating
Very beautiful place to stop and walk around the lake. Services and stay were all fine. The pitches are quite sloped, so you need levelling blocks to stay level.Translating
Very beautiful site, with countless activities. Pitches under the trees. Swimming is possible in the lake or the on-site pool. Pedal boats, canoes, bicycles and scooters are available for hire. You could easily stay for two or three days. There is something for everyone.Translating
Positives.... beautiful place to stay. under trees which keeps off the heat of the day! lovely beach area and walks. Negatives.... gate does not work every time. we had to call for assistance, as did 3 people leaving and many more arrivals over the 3 days we stayed!!!
Great place, lovely & shady, few minutes walk to beach, lake, pool & restaurant. Very busy, difficult to find space though app says spaces available, think we ended up sharing a space with another camper. Long cable needed as people plugged into any electricity point they can find. Waste disposal & filling area good with easy access. Barrier access code didn't work used card. Would return.
Very beautiful and peaceful place, with a lovely lake nearby and beautiful shaded walks. The pitches are unstable, so levelling blocks are needed. No 4G network (Bouygues), and no TV antenna signal, but the Wi-Fi works very well if you are near the barrier. I recommend the little snack bar, where we ate very well.Translating
Some pitches have quite a lot of shade, and levelling blocks are needed everywhere to level the van. The electricity towers are quite far away, so you need a long cable (when we were there, one socket was not working). The rest of the services, like all Camping-Car Park areas, are very good. Direct access to the lake from the area and the possibility of walking and cycling routes. You cannot walk all the way around the lake.Translating
A beautiful, quiet and peaceful location in the middle of a forest by the lake. It would deserve 5 stars if there were showers/toilets and sinks to wash plates. The buccolic path below the parking by the lake is a must, especially at sunset.
Absolutely empty today. Check Camping-Car Park to see whether spaces are available. Quiet, shaded spot with a view of the lake through the trees.Translating
The area is full; it is impossible to stop there.Translating
Very nice area near the lake. The pitches are very well arranged, spacious and shaded. It is an excellent area that I recommend.Translating
A very comfortable rest area, with a large pitch under the trees and a view of the lake. The lake beach is 300 m away.Translating
Superb pitches. We are not very experienced with such areas, but the place is clean, well laid out and very quiet. By the lake, with an unobstructed view from every pitch. Many hiking trails nearby. The restaurant opened on 30 April, and there is an indoor pool two minutes' walk away.
Very good. Beautiful shaded pitches. Electricity everywhere. Clean facilities. Beautiful walks. A restful break for everyone. Plenty of space at the end of April during the school holidays. Perfect with dogs (and please clean up after them!). Free Wi-Fi network from Saint-Pardoux.
Strange system: you need some kind of card otherwise you cannot get in. I do not understand where you can buy that card. I drove on to Étang de Sagnat.
A top-class area in an idyllic setting beside the lake, with walking trails all around. Very clean. Still plenty of space in April. However, this area is not suitable for people addicted to Wi-Fi and mobile internet.
Wonderful! Lots of activities for all tastes, young and old. The area is magnificent in this season, practical and functional. Recommended for walks in the woods.
Top. Very quiet place that should be respected. Beside the lake with the birds. Hats off to Camping-Car Park. It is a magical place.
Superb area under the trees with a view of the lake, and very quiet during my visit. Occupancy was 25%. However, connecting to the network to watch videos is not easy (I use Bouygues).
