Strada Comunale Valle Gimont, 10054, Cesana Torinese
Been here?
A flat grassy parking area beside two ski-resort restaurants, offering a very quiet and peaceful overnight stop. It is a starting point for numerous hikes, and there are many spaces on the meadow. The 500m access path is unpaved and unsuitable for campers according to recent reports, though a Ducato Maxi reached the site. The upper section is paved but has large water drains.

Flat grassy parking area. Spent one night here with the Air Camping app. Quiet and peaceful.
In October, a very nice spot for an overnight stop. The weather was not on our side, but we still had a good, rainy night. 4x4 + rooftop tent + 2 dogs.
The dirt access road is unsuitable for motorhomes, with many grassy spaces. Starting point for numerous hikes. The municipal road has some off-road vehicles passing by, but never excessively. Quiet, extremely peaceful night.
We got up here easily with a Ducato Maxi. The upper section is paved again but has annoying drainage channels. Very quiet up here. And you can get a cappuccino next door in the morning. The site gets five stars; the access road loses one.
I confirm that small motorhomes or off-road vehicles can make it up. The road is paved but has large drainage channels. Plenty of parking for everyone. Mountain cheese is sold behind the Monsolein bar-restaurant.
