Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A beautiful remote area with views of the glacier, lakes and rivers, and several possible spots nearby. The access piste is partly washed out, with limited places and no current easy access. Recent reports say 4x4 access is required, with high ground clearance needed higher up. The surroundings are calm and very scenic.

Only accessible with a 4x4.
Very good spot away from the motorhomes!
A great stopover with a view of the glacier. The access road is currently somewhat washed out. Ground clearance is essential and four-wheel drive is recommended. We made it up in a T6 4M; four other vans were parked at the entrance.
Great place, but there are not many spaces. It is quiet and very beautiful.
further down ok for and car, higher up only with high clearance, 4x4 and a bit of rockpacking...there's an awesome spot at the end of the road with a view of the lake but there was too much snow so we didn't' know where the road was...
Incredibly beautiful in the middle of nature, with natural pools below the glacier. Several beautiful spots nearby.
The road collapsed due to water and is currently inaccessible.
Many parking spots along the road. Further up, the road can hardly be heard, but you need ground clearance and 4x4 there.
