Been here?
This is the official Trollsveggen parking lot, a very large daytime area with picnic tables and magnificent views of the Troll Wall. Parking is limited to 4 hours maximum. The toilets were locked during the latest visit, so this is best treated as a short-break stop.

If you walk along the small path to the right of the yellow house at the back, see photo, you reach a small circular hiking trail. Very beautiful.Translating
View is amazing, perfect for a short break as the parking is only allowed up to 4 hours max. Unfortunately all of the toilets were locked so we didn't stay overnight.Translating
We stopped to do a route of about 3 km and ate at one of the outdoor tables.Translating
Very nice area, but be careful: it is NOT possible to stay overnight; there is a sign stating this very clearly.Translating
Beautiful place, the night was quiet. The toilets farther back at the old train station were open all night, with hot water.Translating
great for a day-stay (we did not sleep here)Translating
When we arrived just before 7 p.m., the toilets at the tourist center were already closed, so we used those at the station. The no-camping signs are positioned in such a way that it is unclear whether they apply to the main parking area. In the end, we drove on.Translating
The tap is on a wooden post in the grass near the souvenir shop, next to the railway line. It is hard to see because it looks like just a post. The souvenir shop toilets are free. Spectacular view.Translating
Good spot, the view is AMAZING! Really recommend to get here before it gets dark. Also the bathroom is really nice, warm and clean. Only downside, there are also a lot of trucks that make noise during the night (keeping engine on etc.)Translating
Majestic view at the Troll Wall. Very specious parking with lots of picnic tables and water taps. Toilets at the tourist center is free and open until 19:00, the second toilet at the old train station in also free and open to 21:00, but when we were here, it was open all night. I will never forget washing those dishes at midnight with perfect clear view at Troll Wall through the bathroom window.Translating
There is plenty of space. There is train noise. It is pleasant, and toilets are available two minutes away from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It is a place with a wonderful view.Translating
Phenomenal place! Very good parking facility, old train station 5 steps away with some exposition, quiet after working hours! Not mentioning the majestic Troll WallTranslating
Surprisingly peaceful night in this service area carpark. Under the Troll Wall. Great views of surrounding mountains. Carpark busy until shop/restaurant closed. Some lorry’s also slept. Outside toilet still shut, main toilets in shop/restaurant only open when it it. Translating
In the end, we slept in this very clean parking area with a great picnic table. The toilets opened at 9:30.Translating
Problem: all the shops are closed this Monday, so there is no access to the toilets. Parking and tables are very good.Translating
Wonderful view. A bit of noise from the road. Toilets open all night, maybe due to off seasonTranslating
Perfect for one night rest stop. We stayed in November 2023. The bathrooms in the small building are free and were open. It was quiet, with only a few other campers and trucks there. The view waking up to the mountains were beautiful. Sadly we discovered the next morning the Trollveggen Pass was closed due to the snow. Translating
Nice place and view but sadly all the services are closed off season.Translating
Slept well here and had no trouble from the road. It is a popular spot, though.Translating
Because of the road, railway traffic, high turnover and especially trucks spending the night with their engines running, it is simply too noisy!Translating
Plenty of picnic tables and tap with water. Beware that restrooms were closed at night. They were closed when we arrived after 7pm. Else a good place to stay for the night. Lots of room. This was mid July.Translating
