domaine de griggione, 20218, Piedigriggio
Been here?
Shaded campsite traversed by the river Golo, offering large pitches and direct access to natural river pools for swimming. Basic but clean facilities; recent reports note new showers lack hot water. No cassette emptying available. Around €36 high season for two adults and two children. Quiet, peaceful setting with friendly owners.

A simple campsite with very nice operators. The showers seem to have been newly renovated, but there was only cold water. Everything was very clean. The two river swimming holes are unbeatable. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is exactly the right place.Translating
Two stars for the wonderful access to the refreshing swimming hole and the pitches. Otherwise, there is more of a deserted-place atmosphere here. Our worst site in Corsica regarding the buildings. Is it going to be renovated or is it falling apart?! There was also nobody around, so we did not dare to shower because of Legionella concerns (but that is our assessment, not a fact). Located directly beside the road.Translating
Very quiet, very shady campsite. The pitches are large. Simple, clean sanitary facilities. The access to the Golo and the large natural pool is magnificent. Very warm welcome.Translating
Fantastic place in nature. Very quiet and clean. We would gladly come back.Translating
Superb campsite, the managers are very friendly. There are two superb white-sand beaches beside the river, plus hammocks. A very pleasant campsite; you can reserve croissants and bread the evening before. The sanitary facilities are very clean. About €36 in high season for two adults, two children, one dog, and a motorhome. Thanks to the managers for their welcome and for the beauty and tranquility of the place.Translating
Nature campsite with a warm and friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are old but extremely clean. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Recommended.Translating
Beautiful location in the woods. Cool and suitable for a restful stop. Large pitches on the grass. Facilities somewhat dated.Translating
Good location, beautiful pitches. A stream nearby. Unfortunately, there is still a lot that needs to be finished. It will be good one day. No place to dispose of gray water or chemical toilets.Translating
Very friendly welcome, green pitches; we were able to choose ours for the night. Water available, no waste disposal. Sanitary facilities okay with hot water.Translating
Clean, but very outdated sanitary facilities and reception. Lots of rubbish behind the buildings.Translating
We spent one night at this campsite. A very, very friendly welcome. Small but shady campsite. Clean sanitary facilities. Close to a small riverside beach. Very quiet. No shops, but close to the village with small stores and restaurants.Translating
We spent one night at this campsite and were given a very warm welcome. We thank the owners for their kindness. The sanitary facilities were old but very clean. The pitches are green, and we had a wonderful night. If we return one day, we will certainly stop here again.Translating
My experience was not the most pleasant because, for what you pay, other Corsican campsites offer much more. At the entrance you will find a dilapidated building serving as reception, then you continue toward a grassy area with various pitches. The bathrooms are basic and old but clean, with hot water. There is a busy road alongside, and the train also passes by. The restaurant has been closed for a long time.Translating
Very green grassy pitches—and that is rare!! New showers. The stream water is very cold. The owners deserve your visit!!Translating
There is only one problem with this campsite: once you arrive, it is very difficult to leave! Large pitches, the river next door, and a great location geographically: the Asco and Golo gorges, Corte, etc. Plan to stay for a while!Translating
Very pleasant campsite. Super welcome from the owners, including a guided tour of the campsite. Beautiful pitches, many of them very shady. Older sanitary facilities, but very well renovated and maintained. Magnificent campsite beach beside the river, 300 m away; the dog was delighted. Breakfast reservations possible. Restaurant closed this season. €73 for three nights with a van for two people and a dog.Translating
A peaceful campsite, with the Golo River running through it—a real joy for swimming. Friendly and very kind welcome.Translating
Excellent campsite, very simple and welcoming. €19.40 for two people in a minivan, including electricity. Perfect for taking any route in the Restonica or Tavignano valley. Without a doubt, an excellent choice.Translating
Very nice. Not far from the road but little noise. Large shady pitches. Access to a small swimming area with a beach and hammocks, very pleasant. Simple but clean and practical sanitary facilities and showers. Very welcoming and distinctive owner.Translating
Spacious and shady area. Clean toilets and shower. Friendly owners.Translating
Large spaces, lots of shadows, hot water and everything you need. Perfect place to visit the Asco valley and 50 min distance to the ferry in Bastia. The owners are very friendlyTranslating
Warm welcome. Well-defined pitches with electricity (€4.50). The shady places are much appreciated. All the facilities are functional and clean. This year there was an invasion of caterpillars in the oaks, so do not park underneath them.Translating
We arrived today and left again about 60 minutes later. The initial welcome was very terse, and we were immediately asked to pay. We only then noticed how littered and run-down the site and sanitary facilities were. Shortly afterward, the entire camper was full of caterpillars. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The second star is exclusively for the beach.Translating
Pros: large grassy pitches, quiet, well located for exploring the area if you are motorized, supermarkets and bakery 4 km away, friendly managers, reasonable prices. Cons: sanitary facilities, washing-up basins, and toilets have somewhat borderline cleanliness and finishing; no cassette toilet disposal for chemical toilets; no gray-water disposal for motorhomes. In summary: good for a short stay or a stopover, especially outside the high season.Translating
Spacious site by the river with lots of grass. Showers good and clean; one toilet is a bit little. Great views. €30 for two adults, two children, and a van without electricity.Translating
very nice and friendly hosts. beautifully situated campsite. We were there at the beginning of November for a few days. A good place to go to the mountains. I highly recommend it. Open all year roundTranslating
