6 Riverside Road, NE66 2RY, Alnmouth
Been here?
This is free street parking beside a viewpoint, with views towards the beach, sea, and estuary. It is in a residential area, and overnight camping is not recognised; residents are uncomfortable with campervans and motorhomes outside their houses. Spaces are less than 6 meters wide, manoeuvring is difficult at the end, and large vans may not fit. Public toilets are a few minutes away and open 24/7.

This is a residential area and all parking spots are overlooked by houses. The residents are very uncomfortable with camper vans and motorhomes parking outside their houses and this is not a recognised overnight camping spot. There are many alternatives in Northumberland
Solo female car camper. Easy to find. Lots of space, although is on road so if you have a wide vehicle some spaces would be better than others as there are point where packing is on both sides of the road. Nice clean public toilets only a few minutes walk away open 24/7 Great views. No chippy / take-aways local though so make sure you’re packed with snacks ☺️
Wonderful views and access to the lovely town, beach and estuary. We didn't stay overnight though, as this is on street parking & quite sloped. No room to sit outside in the sunshine, except on the beach!
was full when we turned up so couldn't park, but it was a bank holiday Monday. quite sloping and tight if you have a big van
Great on street parking. around 12 places. public toilets nearby and plenty of local pubs to visit. best to get there later when all the cars have gone home. great views of the beach and sea. highly recommend staying here. houses on the street appear to be holiday lets.
Great spot, quiet road with no through traffic. Great views.
Couldn't get parked as all spots were taken so had to move on. Disappointed again.
You have a beautiful view, but you are parked directly on the road. In the interests of fair parking, you really should not park here. It is not prohibited, but you can tell that the residents do not like it; there are relatively few parking spaces. We can imagine that parking here will soon be prohibited.
Nice spot, on street but very quiet, next to estuary beach, small boat port and path to sea beach. Some noise from trains which are on other side of estuary. Toilets available 5 min walk, small bins as well. Plenty walks, dog paradise, a lot of benches.
Beautiful views from the park up. very quiet, only saw dog walkers but that could be because of the time of year. public toilets are not too far away and bins nearby too. Only downside was that the street isn't level.
Beautiful place, wonderful beach, ideal for walking dogs. Now, at the end of November, there is lots of space and it is very relaxing. You are parked on the road, but it is a very small, quiet dead-end street.
