Clean, quiet place, toilets available, picnic table, water dispenser costing €2 for 100 litres, and electricity costing €2 for one hour.
Negative: noisy during the day because it is near the busy Rue Ternier and the large roundabout; noisy in the evening because it is near McDonald's, which attracts young people on mopeds. Positive: the facilities, including a new, clean, heated toilet block; three long spaces, 3 m wide, with a slight slope; a working Euro-Relais service point; one picnic table; bins; the canal; and a bakery and Lidl nearby.
Great area. Thanks to the town hall for providing such a place with free parking. Water and electricity cost €2, and all shops are nearby. Pleasant walk along the canal.
Far too noisy to sleep because of badly behaved young people. What a shame, as the bakery and McDonald's are useful. We did not need to use the services.
Small motorhome area with a working 220 V connection, although it only accepts €2 coins for each hour of electricity, and water, also working with a €2 coin for up to 100 litres. Small pitches, but fine for one night. A bakery and some shops are nearby. Quiet night.
Convenient spot set back from the canal. Quiet enough at night. Unfortunately the tap is currently not working. Nice ride along the canal.
Good, convenient place for emptying wastewater.
Not immediately the most beautiful location, but good for one night while passing through. Toilet available, though not very clean. Very close to a large bakery and a McDonald's.
Perfect as a one night stop over. Supermarkets and bakeries within 5 minutes walk. Nice canal walk - turn left and cross over before lidl if you want a longer walk. We dumped waste water, toilet and used the bins. Spaces quite tight - were 7.5m and were fine. Very quiet overnight.
Thanks to the town hall for these services. Quiet night. The toilets are opened in the mornings.
Thank you to the municipality. Quiet night. Clean.
The place could do with cleaning, but it is well located and quiet. Close to a bakery, McDonald's, and Lidl. Accessible to long vehicles. Lovely walk or bike ride along the canal.
We were looking for a nice spot, even without services, to walk along the canal. It was a failure; even the canal bank is unwelcoming. We are moving on.
There is still no fresh water available; the €2 service is out of order. However, you can empty grey water and the cassette.
We put in €2 but got no water. However, you can take water from the cassette tap; be careful, you need a fitting without threads and a clamp to tighten it. Better than nothing.
Good for parking, but the electricity and water are out of service.
Simple free park up, tucked out the way by the canal, very run down but did the job. Toilets were closed for the foreseeable. Didn’t try the electricity or water. Lovely boulangerie called ‘La bakery’ just down the road, cheap but great pastries/bread
We came to replenish our water, but the service point was out of order!
Close to shops. Possibility of parking by the water for heavy goods vehicles; barrier open and out of service. Quiet, without electricity. 1.7 km from Frère, with an excellent restaurant, La Table du Patio.
