This is a daytime rest area beside Silandro station and the Merano–Curon cycle path. The station provides a bar and free toilets, while only a few trains pass and usually cause little noise. Overnight stays are prohibited; the side area has accommodated vehicles measuring 6.50 metres and 7,4m.

Good parking area. We felt very safe. We barely heard the trains. The parking spaces are not very large, but you can park a 6.5-meter motorhome sideways quite well.
Perfect parking area, excellent for cycling from Silandro to Merano, and although it is one meter from the railway line, it is not noisy because only a few trains pass each day.
At least in winter (late January), hardly any trains ran at night. The space is just large enough for a 7.4-meter vehicle.
Suitable even for large vehicles. The station toilets are very clean and also free.
