Small parking, unsuitable large motorhomes

The parking spaces are on a slope and our 6.5m van is sticking out at the front as there is a verge at the back so we can’t back our wheels right back into the space. Otherwise a quiet night.

We arrived around 8 p.m. There was plenty of free space. A very quiet place to spend the night. The only issue is that from 8 a.m. many people and vehicles arrive to drop children off at school.✦Translating

We spent one night here in a van. The parking area is flat and the urban surroundings are quiet; we did not have much noise at night. No toilets within walking distance. The parking area overlooks a primary school courtyard, so there is noise early in the morning, but that is normal!✦Translating

Very practical and quiet place for visiting Bayonne. You can take the bus (€1.30) or walk; allow 35 minutes. The walk is very easy.✦Translating

This may be ok if arriving late & just staying for the night, but having arrived at 09.30 it was very busy with small spaces even for our 6m campervan, so we moved on.

Good for one night, quiet, with a small-village atmosphere even though there are many shops nearby. The spaces are narrow, but on the school side you can park backwards between the trees without sticking out in front. There are rubbish bins at the corner of the parking area. It is very popular and fills up quickly.✦Translating

We spent the night. On arrival it was easy to park because there were no cars, but with a 7 m vehicle it was very tight. The night was somewhat unpleasant because of the rain and movement of the tree branches. At dawn on Monday, many cars arrived to drop children at the adjacent school. Fortunately, they then left; otherwise I would not have been able to get out. I do not recommend it for a large motorhome.✦Translating
