Unnamed Road, 64260, Izeste
Been here?
Remote meadow surrounded by cow herds and mountains, accessed via steep 2km winding single-track mountain road with no passing places. Better for small vehicles; large motorhomes find it difficult. Spacious and quiet at night when cows leave. Horsing flies can swarm (June especially). Hiking trails depart from here. Leave clean.

A little cocoon in the middle of nature, surrounded by mountains and hills. The climb is difficult if you are in a motorhome, but it is absolutely worth it. I went twice, and the second time there was only one couple with a child. The space is so large and accessible that we could stay in a secluded spot away from prying eyes while enjoying the area.
Serene spot. Farmer from field higher up came by and said it was okay to stay. Had a good laugh about the cows who looked at our car as if they saw water burning. Quiet at night when the cows with bells leave for lower pastures. I think there are more suitable spots here when you drive further up the path. No flies anymore.
We stood here completely alone, surrounded only by a herd of cows. The ringing bells bothered us a little at night when they came very close to the van. Free 5G, okay. Very nice locals recommended hiking trails to us. Forestry workers and hunters drove past in the evening and waved. At the end of September there were no more flies either. Access with a 7 m van was easy.
Alone at the spot. A few flies, but that's normal. Very spacious, quiet, and green place.
It is a beautiful place, but it was swarming with biting flies. Access is via a 2 km single-track road; no problem with our 7 m motorhome, but with oncoming traffic someone is in trouble because there are no passing places. We left because of the insects.
Simply splendid! The access road is suitable for a Ducato-type utility van. We were alone overnight, then two hikers' cars arrived in the morning.
Magnificent location in the middle of nature. Three isolated spots. But the access road is narrow, winding, and single-lane; it is not suitable for motorhomes.
Very good spot, very quiet. A few hikers and people walking their dogs. We were not many despite it being mid-August.
Perfect, in the middle of nature, magnificent landscape, very quiet place, no barrier when we were there.
At the entrance to the site, they installed something that prevents vehicles from entering, so I had to turn around.
Super-quiet spot in a meadow on the edge of the mountains. We were only two vans at the end of July, total disconnection.
A superb spot for one night. The cows in the morning with their bells, a short walk around the forest... magnificent! The farmer was there in the morning and said nothing. Access is easy for a utility van and car. I confirm that it is complicated for a motorhome. The place must be LEFT CLEAN! ❤️
Ideal spot for spending a night in the middle of nature!
Great! Peaceful, in harmony with nature.
Absolutely perfect for spending the night.
