3 Lymm Road, WA14 4TA, Little Bollington
Been here?
A free lay-by beside the Bridgewater Canal, with views of narrowboats and a pub nearby, but no toilets. The lay-by is untidy and traffic remains noticeable at night. The latest report found several caravans apparently living there and described the spot as rough, prompting departure.

Not the best spot, there seems to be a couple of caravans living here now, looks rough, we moved on.
Beautifully located, directly beside a canal with narrowboats. The lay-by itself is not very tidy and quite a lot of traffic still passes at night.
Nice quiet spot next to the Bridgewater canal
For a pitstop it's none too shabby with the canal view. The food truck guy I found lovely. In fairness he does pay for the spot from the council and has been here for 20 plus years so not unfair to ask you to move really. His food is great too!
Usually like it here but this morn got woken up by nasty rude food truck guy who leant on his horn for 5 mins to wake us up and blame us for a load of rubbish bags nearby that weren't ours. He arrives at 7am and gets annoyed if you're in 'his spot' (it's a PUBLIC layby) he has been agressive with us before and ruins a lovely spot. Happened multiple times now. Gets close to your van and shouts.
Stayed 5th November one night, 3 vans plenty of cars in lay-by, had a good nights sleep woken up once by a boy racer. We ate at the Ye olde inn no3 got talking and they said if eating in pub you are welcome to sleep in pub car park for free. Landlady been in charge for only 10 weeks. Very friendly and helpful.
