Forest parking, nearby road noise

Fair bit of traffic on the nearby road but a beautiful spot in nature. Not too busy

Super-quiet place to sleep, beautiful, with two small trails for walking. The three-ton sign applies to crossing the bridge beyond the parking area, so there are no parking restrictions. Recommended.

The access road is restricted to three tonnes from both directions.

Excellent! Really peaceful. Just be aware that the nearby road is slightly noisy at night. There is also a magnificent river below.

Large parking area with compacted fine gravel and three tables with chairs. There are no bins, but it is well maintained.

We spent the night in this free wooded car park between Kilkenny and Dunmore Caves, which are not particularly extraordinary. The road is separated by a hedge of trees and can be heard a little in the morning. Lots of dog walkers, but still quiet overall. Three picnic tables in good condition.

Stayed here for 1 night, good enough spot. A bit near road so some traffic noise and some dog walkers on the site in the morning but overall had a good sleep. 2 other vans there also so company was good.

A lovely green haven for a quiet night despite the nearby road. No height restriction at present, one picnic table in good condition, space for six to eight vehicles, and a nice walk through the woods. There is also Jenkinstone Park two kilometres away, with toilets. Happy travels everyone!

Very pleasant spot at the edge of a forest, but very close to the road, so there is traffic noise. It is a meeting place for locals who park here to walk their dogs. Picnic tables are available.
