Avenida de Mataelpino, 28410, Manzanares el Real
Been here?
A roadside parking area near the entrance to the national park and trails, with easy access to excellent walking routes. Recent visitors found quiet nights, but cyclists and walkers arrive early, especially at busy times. There are rubbish bins but no water, picnic tables or toilets, and weekend parties have previously caused loud nighttime noise.

Good, out of the way location, but police did pass by around 6am but didn’t ask us to move on but maybe because it’s winter season. Seems like it would be super busy in summer! Easy access to great trails.
We went from Friday night to Saturday in April. We spent the night with two other campers in a very quiet atmosphere. In the morning, bicycles and hikers who park there were already starting to arrive, but nothing excessive. There are trash bins, but no fountains or picnic tables. There are no bathrooms either. The place is beautiful.
We spent Friday night to Saturday there. Although it is true that hordes of cars begin passing by early, at night there were only a few small campers, and we all went to sleep early, so there was no noise. If you want to do a route in the morning, it is ideal. Very clean, with all kinds of waste containers.
A week ago I slept there for a couple of nights while visiting La Pedriza. It is the second time I have been there, and the place is ideal. Right beside the barrier that closes the park. A quiet and uneventful night. That said, this was during the week; weekends may be different.
