Toilet and shower block freezing cold, black mold on the ceiling and the door left on the snib so no point in having the code for the door. lots of rubble and concrete in-between abandoned caravans. My grans good friend had a static here for years and we used to come regularly with the kids. Got plonked at the end of the park near the road so hopefully i will get a good night's sleep
A lovely warm welcome, spacious pitches although in a mainly static caravan site. Good stopover and would recommend the Smiddy nearby in the town for a Breakfast / Brunch and the co-op supermarket to stock up from.
Nice quiet campsite with good and clean facilities. Big and spacious, but gravel pitches. Village with shops nearby, open all week.
Large pitches and clean, newer sanitary facilities. Efficient washing machines and tumble dryers, but very busy. Friendly reception. Good starting point for a bike tour along the Crinan Canal.
Good place to stop. Bit pricey but good facilities. All toilets and showers were working fine. (see earlier comment) No wifi but good mobile connection. Wide, fully serviced pitches.
Bizarre. I read other reviews and booked two nights. Well, I won't be coming back. Several loos were out of order, those that were working were the worse for wear. The pitches quoted as being "very spacious" were not true, and there was no wifi. Definitely NOT worth £33 a night.
Excellent laundromat facilities in the block at the entrance to the site, open to the public. £5 for a large wash, £2 for a 30-minute dry.
Nice site has pretty much everything you need to refuel we filled water did some laundry and showered topped up battery £33 fully serviced pitch
We spent one night here while passing through. We registered by phone. Very friendly welcome. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Water connection and electricity directly at the pitches.
Very large, flat gravel pitches for £33, including all services. Very warm welcome, and just a stone's throw from the town centre.
Very friendly and helpful operator. The price is now £33 including everything. Very spacious pitches, very clean showers and toilets. The operator is always reachable by mobile phone.
looked a very nice site. I found their details on the Argyle and Bute council website as having motorhome services (black waste and grey water) for a fee. Turns out that this is only offered when the site is fully booked only. Shame as with Tarbet service point closed for maintenance there are very few options for servicing.
Huge gravel pitches. Everything very clean. £33 for a motorhome, two people and a dog.
Fantastic place, pitches are the biggest we’ve seen. Toilets, showers 1st class, guy that greeted us was very helpful and would defiantly recommend this site if your in the area
We only stayed one night, but it was perfect. No noise, huge washrooms and spotless showers. The owner is lovely; even if he isn't at reception, you can call him and he comes immediately. We arrived without a reservation and when we asked if we could stay, he said, of course, with a huge smile. Dogs are welcome, and they even have a place where they can roam freely.
