Been here?
This is a gravelled sports-club parking area for transit stays, with excellent city access and a Rewe supermarket with bakery 50m away. The fee is 15€, including access to clean, functional toilets and showers; electricity is available at 6 places. Departure is required by 12:00, and caravans are prohibited. It is near a forest and river, with generally little road noise, although sports-club events can sometimes be loud.

When we arrived, the parking area was full of cars, yet we were told we could stay if we found a gap. We did not use electricity or the sanitary facilities. Nevertheless, we were happy to pay our €15 and left again early in the morning. Thanks to the club for providing the overnight option. The coffee from the Rewe bakery next door was excellent!!
I stayed at the site for two days over the weekend. Showers/toilets always accessible and clean. Perfect starting point for the Lech cycle path and exploring the city. Thanks to the sports club for this great opportunity.
Easy to find off the motorway. 15 euros with use of the showers in the sportsclub included. Payment by cash or Paypal - there is a QR code to scan on a board by the camper pitches. As they are intended as transit stops there is no setting up of tables/putting out awnings - literally a stopover. A good point on our way back from Istria, Croatia to Calais. Some road noise but fine. Good shower!!
Great place for a one night stop to visit Augsberg. Bus 100m away. Toilets and showers clean and perfectly acceptable. Highly recommend if visiting Augsberg. Thank you to the club for making it available.
Great place to stay for 1 night, including 6 electricity spots. In the end there were 7 campers. Wonderful hot shower and the toilet was fine too, a little dated but functional. You are ultimately also supporting the association. We hardly noticed the road in the end. The last athletes left around 11 p.m., which creates some activity. But you know that. The
The four spaces were occupied. After consultation, we were allowed to stay beside them. The sanitary facilities are practical; it is a sports club, after all. Great offer. Happy to return.
Toilets and showers available. Contrary to the information on Park4night (24 hours), the notice says departure must be by 12 noon. The city is within walking distance.
Super parking area. About 30 minutes on foot to the old town. Very spacious, clean sanitary facilities, a little dated. The best part is the supermarket and bakery around the corner. Happy to return.
The showers and toilets were extremely difficult to find. They are in the basement of the sports restaurant. Communal shower, so if there has just been a sporting event, you shower together with several strangers. At 11 p.m. on Saturday evening, incredibly loud music came from the restaurant, so my children could not sleep. If I had not already paid, I would have left again.
Great place. Everything needed is available. Thanks to TSG.
Even if you do not get one of the four coveted spaces, but stand in the second, third or fourth row—please pay for your night. The money benefits the independent TSG. Besides, where else can you stay in the city for twelve euros and also use the toilet and shower?
TOP, so close to the city center. Praise to the sports club! It is just a shame that some so-called campers cannot count to four. Sometimes there are more than 8 vehicles here. And where are the TSG members supposed to park? >> More discipline, please <<
A simple roadside parking area (busy at all hours); the electricity point took €3 from me without providing anything. The showers are in a dark and isolated basement. Four showers in 2 square meters, shared by women and men, so you may end up sharing the shower with three other people. Personally, I did not have a good experience.
A very well-organized parking area run by TSG. Many thanks for that. Unfortunately, more motorhomes than planned are standing here, and some are even parked sideways.
Best place for this price; unfortunately, the machine for paying for electricity did not work. Management is not present, so I sent an email.
We spent one night in this parking area. There is no staff; everything is self-managed. The sports center next door has very clean toilets and very hot showers. Perfectly fine for one night!
Everything is very well described on the information board. Sanitary facilities super clean. Highly recommended for one night or for a stopover.
Gray-water disposal drain in front of the pitches, black-water disposal next to the information board, showers and toilets always very clean, plenty of hot water! Very friendly communication with members of the sports club. Rewe and bakery 50 m away. 10 minutes into town by e-scooter. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, a car from Euskirchen occupied one of the 4 pitches overnight!
We stopped for one night, €12 for the pitch, located about 40 minutes on foot from the center. Quiet and frequented by decent people. Friendly staff with knowledge of English. Bathrooms and showers are in the sports center changing rooms. Very clean and usable during the center’s opening hours, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Water filling is charged; unfortunately, there is no disposal facility.
We arrived here because we could not find a place at the other parking area in the center… 4 pitches managed by a sports center. €12 per night including disposal, electricity extra. Bus to the city center 100 m away and supermarket nearby. Well done!
Parking full, no possibility of emptying the gray water.
Rather narrow site; long-term parkers who do not need electricity MUST occupy the spaces needed by those who do. Very inconsiderate!
Everything was already occupied quite early in the evening by people spreading out as if on a campsite. We drove on to the lake.
Great opportunity to stay cheaply in Augsburg. Full service! Toilets and showers clean, site large enough. Yes, it is a sports club parking area, and we are allowed to park there… the others do not have to accommodate us!!! Thank you!
A great offer from the hosting sports club, thank you very much! (I usually avoid campsites otherwise ...) Breakfast tip for the next day: Café Himmelgrün on Berliner Allee; you can park there easily even with a fairly large vehicle.
Free toilet emptying and waste disposal, but no grey-water disposal!
We arrived in the afternoon and the car park was empty. It's about a mile to the old town but the new town is better. The pitches were full when we got back and we had 2 vans very close. Door to the toilets is along the line of the vans. Keep going forwards and down to the corridor. Turn on the light. Changing rooms on the left with communal showers and toilets at the far end. OK for the price
When we arrived there were already four Motorhomes in the designated parking spaces. We were told it was ok to park to the left of those spaces which we did. The nearby road was quiet overnight and there was easy access to dump the grey and black water. There is an information point on the building wall to the right hand side near a gate where you can find payment details.
As already described, this weekend, due to a sporting event, cars are also parking in the motorhome spaces. Road noise is negligible.
