Forest parking, narrow access

Beautiful and quieter car park during the week. The access road from the direction of the Thaya bridges is closed to vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and more than 2.2 metres wide.

Great forest parking area below the castle, which is closed and probably will not reopen soon. Nevertheless, a quiet and safe place for the night. Certainly in winter. In the morning, many hunters arrived.

As the second vehicle, you need levelling blocks on the other uneven side of the area. Being about 20 metres away gave a feeling of solitude. Minimal traffic at night; mushroom pickers and day-trippers arrive in the morning. The night sky, without light pollution, was perfect!

Nice flat place for one night in nature nearby Cornštejn and Bítov castles on narow street. Quiet at night.

Nice and fairly quiet place. Quite a lot of traffic during the day and peaceful at night. Fri, Sat, Sun (7–9 June 2024).

An excellent overnight spot. Extremely quiet at night. Just as you would wish. Good starting point for hikes through the beautiful area around the reservoir.

Parking lot in front of the ruins of Cornštejn Castle, on the left side of the road from Bítov, slightly sloping. Light traffic toward the end of the afternoon, probably locals. Quiet overnight. We slept one night without problems.

Nice, quiet place. Staying here is no problem. The spot is beside the road. A car passed occasionally. Complete peace in the evening.
