Camping Valldaro is a family campsite with children’s activities, pools, a restaurant and water facilities. The New Area has large pitches, while the lower area can be crowded; the pool may be overcrowded and dirty around the seating. Grey and black water disposal is available, but sanitary cleanliness is mixed, and prices have risen substantially since the site changed ownership.

We came from El Delfín Verde in Pals, but since we could not stay any longer we wanted to try this one, and it was a disappointment! It has nothing to do with the one in Pals, where we felt very comfortable! We probably will not return!
We arrived without a reservation and stayed in the “New Area.” The pitch was large and there was enough space between neighbours. For us, it was the best place on the entire campsite. In the lower area, campers are packed tightly together. The children's programme was very good. The pool was overcrowded and there was sometimes a lot of dirt around the seating areas. The sales stands were understaffed, especially during the high season.
Since El Delfín Verde bought it, construction work has been underway to make it quite impressive.
Since El Delfín Verde bought this campsite in 2022, it has removed the ACSI discount and raised the prices enormously, almost to El Delfín Verde levels. In the long run, they will turn it into a campsite for wealthy tourists. It was our favourite regular campsite, but because of this change we have stopped going. I do not recommend the new slides because they hurt. A failure.
It is a very family-oriented campsite and the facilities are very good; I recommend it. The only drawback is that the supermarket has extremely high prices. However, Mercadona or Esclat are very close for shopping.
Super campsite! Ideal for family time, with a pool, slides and entertainment that are ideal for children. Water can be filled easily. The sanitary facilities are moderately clean but acceptable. Very good restaurant and a quiet pitch. We were at the back of the campsite, which is ideal.
Pleasant staff, extremely loud campers walking through other people's pitches, with no manners. The pool area was nice, hence three stars. The sports facilities remind me of the 1980s. Grey- and black-water disposal is possible. The washrooms at reception are new and clean, but extremely loud because of the “guests”.
Disappointing. We stayed on a Premium Plus pitch, which is supposedly meant to have a pool exclusively for Plus guests, but it is actually a pond, not a pool, only 50 cm deep. The ground is extremely hard and dusty, when it should be grass or something similar. The slide area is old, small and overcrowded. The new area is better as far as the pool is concerned. We will not return.
Lamentable treatment at this campsite, packed with people—crowded, invaded and overloaded! The staff were completely absent, and the few who were there were surly! I would not go even if they gave me the stay for free! Also VERY EXPENSIVE! I would not give you even €1!
With the ACSI card they require a two-night stay, and online booking. We looked for other destinations. What a shame.
Closed; opening on 8 April.
