Free forest parking, road noise

Thanks to the municipality… the pitch is okay, leveling blocks are needed… the road is slightly audible… Herrnhut is a wonderful place.

I can join the previous commentators’ praise. Beautiful, spacious pitches for a maximum of three nights, electricity €1 for two hours, on the edge of town near the forest pool. Free of charge, and that in a UNESCO World Heritage settlement. The only drawback is the busy Zittau road above. Thank you.

Many thanks to the municipality for this great overnight stay. I paid for electricity to charge up, €1 for two hours, and it worked very easily. Free Wi-Fi and beautiful surroundings. I took a walk with the dog on the nearby sculpture trail. I recommend it.

Beautiful pitch near the town center. Thanks to the municipality for providing it free of charge. Heated toilets for €0.50, electricity, free Wi-Fi and really great level spaces for five motorhomes. Picnic area and a forest pool in summer. Wonderful for visiting the Herrnhut Star Manufactory before Christmas. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

We did not stay overnight there, but I looked at the pitch. The electricity connection is always accessible; you only have to open the box—it is not locked. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to add pictures :-(

Very nice motorhome pitch. Many thanks to whoever creates places like this. We spent two days here. The sculpture park and star manufactory are perfect attractions.

Five spaces available free of charge—many thanks, dear municipality! Suitable for vehicles up to 10 meters, and the location is more than good. Two minutes to the forest pool, with a €2 entrance fee—a simple little dream from East German times and a lifesaver at 33°C. Three stars because the parking and landscaped areas are too small; there are no proper pitches. Why not use the meadow intended for this purpose?! Shopping is possible in the village. We would return 50%.

Great level and clean pitch. Clean toilets for 50 cents. You need exact change for electricity, €1 for two hours, and the toilet. A great bakery, Paul, is a two-minute walk away and opens at 5:30 a.m. We will return. Anyone wanting to visit the star factory can walk there too.
