This is a free motorhome parking area near Haldensleben’s old town, with three large spaces and no facilities. It is usable from April to October. Shopping, the market, the water park and the town centre are all within walking distance.

Free motorhome site, very close to the old town. The parking area is perhaps a little too small.
Thank you to the town for this place. Even though the arrangement of the spaces is not suitable for motorhomes, three or four can park lengthwise. It is permitted and free, right in the centre.
Everything is as already described. However, you stand in what is essentially just a parking space, completely exposed, with a heavily used pedestrian path passing directly by the motorhome. We did not like that and continued on.
Close to the old town and fairly quiet, but basic. We would gladly come again. Food tip: Zur Blechtrommel is a very good and delicious restaurant only 500 m away. German cuisine and a very friendly owner. We will definitely return on our next visit.
I spent a very peaceful night here after the obligatory entertaining group of rowdy youths had disappeared early. The old town and the surrounding area are very pretty.
