A quiet viewpoint with a chapel and magnificent views over the Douro valley. Following the brown chapel sign leads to a driveable cobbled path that is not especially steep. There are no prohibition signs, and overnight stays are possible.

This view is wonderful. A magnificent night above the Douro Valley.
Beautiful, quiet place with a wonderful view. If you follow the official signs to the chapel—the brown sign on the road—the route is easy to drive, cobblestoned but not very steep.
Superb spot, the view is incredible. One of the best we have visited. We came up via the stone track and later discovered there was a road (thanks, Google); make sure you check—the road is to the west. Unfortunately, the wind started during the night, but once we turned our backs to it there was no problem.
