Seaside parking, seasonal vehicle ban

Unfortunately, signs have been put up prohibiting access from June 1 to September 1 throughout the beach area. Some pavement space at Samil remains available.

Open dirt area for general parking. There are two beach bars nearby, a beach, public toilets, and a seafront promenade that continues beyond Samil Beach. We spent a quiet night. Parking for campervans and caravans is prohibited from June to September.

It is better not to park here, to avoid becoming one of the squatters who have been living here for two years.

Beautiful place next to the beach/coast. Quiet, dark and safe night. Not too many levelled places, but not too tilted as well. Around 10 vans and cars stayed overnight.

Very interesting place, although somewhat sloped. It is next to the Camino de Santiago towards Vigo, with a green area for pets, bins, nighttime lighting, and the bus a few meters away.

If you do not have a Spanish license plate, the seasonal ban throughout the area (although it is unclear how extensive it is) is harsh, to say the least. A very high fine plus a penalty for wheel immobilization. However, the access ban applies to vehicles up to 5 meters long and is not seasonal!

Beautiful ocean view. Sloped, sandy ground that sticks to your shoes when it rains. A little noisy because the parking area was overrun by cars attending the big Bouzas festival.

Pleasent quiet spot, nice views over the estuary. Bar now only opens evenings from 1600hrs

Beachfront parking with walks; the toilets are currently closed.

It is prohibited in summer, but allowed in winter. During the day it is very busy and impossible to find parking, so it is better to come as the sun begins to set. It is not quiet because there is a beach bar next door and people keep coming and going. There is direct access to the beach and to a promenade connecting several beautiful small beaches.

Campervans and caravans are prohibited.

Very beautiful place, but during the day it is impossible to park because it fills with cars. Vehicles over 5 meters are also prohibited, as stated on a sign hidden at the entrance. Come at night, when it is very pleasant and parking is possible.

We spent one night in this parking area. Ideal with the beach and beach bar next door. A quiet place to spend the night. During the day it is full, but it empties at sunset. At 8:30 a.m. the police came to tell us that we had to leave the parking area by mid-morning because vehicles over 5 meters may not park or drive there during the day. There is a sign at the beginning of the street.

A good place to park with great views! The only bad thing is that it is sloped, so it is better to bring leveling blocks. A quiet night; there is a nearby promenade and two small beaches opposite. There is also a beach bar opposite where you can have a drink. There are public toilets, although they were closed when we arrived in the late afternoon.

We spent two nights and did not like it much. The place is very beautiful during the day, but at night several cars approached the parking area in a very strange manner and we did not feel very safe. Also, the hotel behind it seemed to have a nightclub, and the music could be heard into the early hours. At 8 a.m. we were also woken by a machine that sounded like a lawnmower and was very noisy.

Perfect for sleeping or going to the beach, although the surface is sandy, but it is very far from Vigo city center—one hour—and the road is quite unpleasant.

This is a designated space for campers which is also used by locals for their cars when they are coming here for walking their dogs or for running. Now in winter there was still enough space for approx. 4 campers. The area is nice and quiet, you can see and hear the ocean. It is still quite far to walk into town, at least 40 min.

We spent three very peaceful nights, with good sea views. In the morning people walk along the promenade, but it is nothing significant. The only drawback is that the ground is beach sand, so the van gets full of sand, but we would return!

We spent several nights here. A beautiful, very peaceful place, right on a promenade leading to many lovely beaches. Highly recommended; there are only some bins and a beach bar. It is very busy during the day, but the nights are quiet with the sound of the waves.
