This parking area beside a bridge on the Scottish/English border offers views of a river and gorge, with enough room for 2 campervans. Nights are generally quiet, but the nearby road can be loud overnight and morning traffic starts from half past six. The ground can become very wet and boggy, and a bin is available.

Road was a little bit loud overnight. Park was super wet, thankfully we were the only van here as we couldn’t park properly in the park as we’ve got bogged down
Quite all right for one night. It is also very quiet at night. But from half past six in the morning, the first cars rush along this road. The site is directly next to the road. Bin available.
Great quiet spot, sheltered from the wind and sun, with a little river next to it. Excellent!
Pleasant and quiet area.
Blessed spot. Right next to a little enchanted forest area with a nice stream going past. Very peaceful at night although there does seem to be farmers' work starting at the crack of dawn. Definitely enough space for 2 decent sized campers. Would recommend, very beautiful P.S. There are roadworks on this road til the 12th Nov 2024 from the southside
