Been here?
This is a large car park at the end of a narrow, winding country lane through the woods. Camping and campervan stays are prohibited by signs, although the setting is peaceful and relatively level. There are reservoir views, a picnic area, forest and river surroundings, and several nearby hikes. Passing places are available along the lane.

Great location, long winding country lane through the woods to get there, but on arrival I saw signs saying you’re not aloud to camp/tent/camper van, so I ended up finding somewhere else.
We stayed here on two occasions. Usually a couple of locals here despite the signs which are largely there to stop people pitching tents in the picnic area. Very peaceful and relatively level. Great views on the walk up to the reservoir. The lane is a bit narrow at times but there are passing places.
