Perfect little day stop. Located at a National Trust car park — free if you’re a member, or payable via app if not. Toilets available on site which is always a bonus ? Great spot for a relaxed picnic with plenty of space, and ideal if you’re bringing a kayak — easy access to the water makes it a really good launch point. Nice, simple, and does exactly what you need for a chilled daytime stop ?
