Hiking start, busy summer road

Right beside a road that is fairly busy, especially in the high season with motorcycles. Fine in a pinch, but we preferred another, more secluded place for the night. Good point: excellent hikes start here, with magnificent views!✦Translating

Wonderful spot for one or two nights in nature, with SFR network coverage. As usual, I clean up the places where I stay, but dear fellow truck and motorhome drivers, I have just filled a 20-liter rubbish bag with toilet paper. So please, collect your rubbish and toilet paper. We all use these places, but try to respect the sites that host you. Thank you.✦Translating

We stopped for one night, taking the spot at the back. Quiet and peaceful; we have a car. The downside is the amount of toilet paper lying around, which means lots of flies. What a shame, because if this place were respected, it would be perfect. Personally, I put my paper waste in one of my dogs’ poop bags, seal it well and throw it away the next day. It does not smell, and it seems like the normal thing to do. What about you?✦Translating
