Lakeside fishing, noisy main road

Scenic, basic and pretty quiet. Lane down is a little bumpy

Quiet and beautiful but nowhere to walk dogs as the main road is very busy!

Magnificent place by the lake with a heron and moorhens. Sheep in the neighboring fields. The parking area is apparently no longer as level as before, with some puddles this season. Unfortunately, we did not have a good night. Locals arrived twice—around 10 p.m., then from 11:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.—in a car making the noise of a Harley Davidson. They slammed the doors and talked as if it were broad daylight... to make us leave...??? We did not feel reassured at all. In addition, the place was not very clean, with a lot of plastic waste that we picked up before leaving.✦Translating

Quite a nice spot, no need to level. One star deducted because you can hear the road above, especially the tractors. When we arrived at 8 p.m. there were two cars that left within half an hour. Three round trips by other cars during the evening.✦Translating

Beautiful quiet place to watch the sunset. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night and were the only people around. Few people swimming in the late morning on Sunday but otherwise empty. Very peaceful. Important that there are a LOT of sheep so not suitable for all dogs. No facilities obviously but a perfect night.

this is a locals spot, for fishing & swimming, pot holed Road in, only suitable for up to 6mtr vehicles, & best stealth camping . I would say 2 vehicles max at any time so as not to offend locals, no services, lovely views of lough.

Sublime spot, peaceful, with a view of the lake and sunset directly in front of us. Locals passed by in the late afternoon for walks, space for 4–5 vans. Rather sheltered from the wind and completely quiet at night.✦Translating

Pleasant little parking area for spending the night in an area where there is not much else. Swimming possible. There is a barrier limited to 2 meters, but it is open. There were three of us during the night.✦Translating

Really beautiful place. I would say two, maximum three campers. Otherwise it won't be long before the site gets a height restriction. Locals regularly come by with children and dogs for a little outing or to swim after work.✦Translating
