Council-run car park directly on the beach, with a large sandy beach, public toilets, a cafe opposite and a fish-and-chip shop within walking distance. Current parking costs £2.30 for an hour or £4.50 for 2 hours, and a 2mtr barrier is now in place. Overnight parking is prohibited by the signs.

Shows as FREE but it isn’t. £2.30for an hour, £4.50 for 2 hours etc.
If you carry on past the field with the 2m barrier you come to the cafe car park with no height restriction. It was £10 for 24hrs. £5 for 3 hours. The cafe food wasn’t the best but they were very helpful and friendly. Beach is huge but you can’t swim as the water quality has been rated poor. No camping overnight and no cooking.
