Been here?
A free motorhome area beside the stadium and near the village, with water filling, gray- and black-water emptying and free electricity. There are four electric places and 6 outlets, while the toilets are closed. A Spar supermarket, bars and restaurants are nearby, and access from the A-66 / E-803 is easy. Recent reports disagree on overnight use, and some nights have been noisy.

We were able to empty the grey and black water. There are two separate taps, one for cleaning the cassette toilet and one for filling with water. No shade in the early afternoon. Good access to and exit from the A-66 / E-803. No overnight stays.
It has water and emptying facilities, and they work perfectly. I have not tried it for sleeping, but it is almost in the town itself and next to a restaurant. Thanks to Monesterio Town Council for this service.
Functional motorhome area. Free water, emptying facilities and electricity. Immediately next to a Spar, with several bars and restaurants. Four spaces, but a large parking area nearby. Relatively quiet despite a few cars honking and skidding during the night.
Many thanks to the municipality. Four pitches with electricity connections. Toilets closed. Water and waste disposal available. Spar supermarket next door. Great.
As always, the first thing is to thank this municipality for taking us into account, which already earns points. You may like it more or less, but we were very peaceful and really liked the supermarket next door, with quality local products. Thank you.
Free motorhome area with electricity, which is great even though there are few connections. Our night was very quiet, with very few motorhomes at this time of year. The only thing missing is a large rubbish bin, because the bags of waste left on site attract cats that tear them apart.
I didn’t like it. I had to leave at midnight because music was playing at an unbearable volume. It is an area far from the town, sloping and with no bins nearby. The only good thing is that it is next to a supermarket.
Pitch near the motorway to Seville, at the sports centre on the edge of town, directly behind the Spar supermarket. Quiet location with views of nature, ideal for an overnight stay. Toilets are locked, but grey-water and chemical-toilet disposal are possible.
Great place for an overnight stay! Well signposted. Facilities: emptying the toilet, dumping grey water, filling with drinking water via a separate tap, and electricity. Six sockets; you need an adapter because they are normal household sockets. Unfortunately, no rubbish bins. Within walking distance of the centre, with everything related to Iberian pork products. Thanks to the municipality for this place.
Very quiet place for one night, few electrical connections but all other facilities available. Thanks to the municipality.
Very loud party zone and a strange continuous noise.
Quiet parking area. Although the few spaces—four—were occupied, there are other nearby parking areas where you can stay freely.
Area with everything, and free. There is one section with tables and grass and another that is dirt. Supermarket right next door.
Very good motorhome area. Why have the bins disappeared? In previous years there were two large bins, and now there are only two small wall-mounted ones.
Perfect stopover for us - town looked very nice but sadly no time to explore this time. We parked opposite the Spar (lovely shop) by the picnic tables as Google maps sent us that way. Bigger vehicles parked in the large parking area below the main road. Toilets locked but drive over grey waste, water and black waste emptying working well. Thankyou !
Very large, beautiful and peaceful area! There are tables with benches beside it, under trees.
We always stop here to use the facilities when travelling to or from Seville, and it is excellent. It has everything necessary and it is free. Thanks to the town council for this initiative.
The second time we have stopped here en route. Large, free, easy-access, paved area. At the end of town, but the centre is only a few minutes away. The ham museum is just across the town. Many shops sell Serrano ham and related products. We spent Holy Saturday night here and there was a lot of partying in town, including in a warehouse at the area itself, but it did not prevent us from sleeping.
We stayed two nights in Monesterio. The food is good. On the first night, young people disturbed us with firecrackers and skidding; the second was better. As always, foreign campers set up next to the electrical outlets, with tables and chairs outside, and stay for long periods. Nobody controls them and they take over the electricity. There are no rubbish bins, not even in town. Waste accumulates near the emptying and filling area.
An area that is convenient for passing through, but it is not clear where to empty the black water.
We stopped for two nights. The last one was noisy—it was a full moon!—but this remains an ideal place for a break and for buying Iberian ham, secreto and pluma. We also visited Tentudía Monastery, with magnificent scenery. We could empty our black and grey water and fill up with fresh water. The small bin was full, so we left our rubbish in one of the many small black bins in town.
Very good motorhome area in a small town where you can buy or taste the famous pata negra Iberian ham. This area offers a good level of services, with grey- and black-water disposal, fresh-water filling and free electricity. The best of the best. We spend peaceful and safe nights here. Thank you to the municipality of Monesterio.
Spring festival today, with a marquee and music. Impossible to spend the night.
Thanks to the municipality for this quiet area.
The public toilets are not open, and the area is not properly equipped for disposing of rubbish.
The site offers many pitches. However, it is noisy because the sports field and gymnasium are next to it, at least on my arrival on Saturday. There are no toilets anymore; the doors have been firmly locked. The four pitches next to the waste-disposal area seem to be permanently occupied by Spanish motorhomes, since only they have access to electricity. There is only one small, overflowing rubbish bin. No waste disposal.
Today the cassette emptying point was blocked and overflowing!
Large area, perfect for one night.
Plenty of space, right next to Spar. During the night you might hear their cooling systems running. There is a single water source for WC and tank filling. WC disposal is clogged. Generally fine as a stopover
Very well connected to services. There is an El Jamón supermarket and more bars. I spent only one night but slept peacefully. Good place to spend a night.
There were many spaces, but only one water tap, located above the dirty-water drain, which was also overflowing. The dirty-water drain was filthy. There were restaurants nearby, including a kebab shop. We found a burger, fries and Coca-Cola combo for €6, and it was very tasty.
Spacious place, but only one tap for filling the tank and washing the cassette toilet. This poses a significant risk of contaminating the clean-water tank. I noticed there is a second tap, but it is not operational.
Spacious and quiet motorhome area at night. There were at least 30 vehicles, with plenty of room. There is a Spar supermarket and several restaurants, including a Super Doner kebab where I had a burger, fries and cola for €6. I recommend the area and have added it to my favourites.
Lovely place for one night, with shops and bars nearby. Thanks to the municipality for this welcoming area.
Excellent place, quiet, with a Spar shop next door and bars and restaurants very close by.
Very convenient stop for one night. Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to use its services free of charge for motorhomes.
Nice large free area. Easy access for motorhomes of any size, 12 metres or more. Very convenient for Spar. It really needs a much larger rubbish bin nearby, though; there is lots of rubbish next to a tiny bin.
Spacious area with the necessary services. As always with these free areas offering electricity, you need luck if you are passing through and need to charge your batteries. Some people never move and I don’t know why they don’t open their front awnings. I think the town council should charge a small fee. Thanks anyway.
Flat, peaceful area with all services free of charge. Supermarket and bars next door. Thanks to the town of Monesterio for providing this facility.
