Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana, 09012, La Maddalena
Been here?
A paying motorhome area directly beside the sea, with 12 paved pitches, electricity, water, waste disposal, clean toilets, and showers. The cost is 20€ for one night, and the beach is immediately accessible, with a children’s playground and beach bars nearby. Traffic and music from a bar about 50 metres away can disturb the night, while beach-cleaning machinery may operate between 1.30 and 4 AM.

The place is not bad, but the bar next door, with loud music at 12:15 a.m., is very disruptive. There was no one at the bar.
Five-star parking area. Toilets okay and very clean. Shower okay. Facilities okay. Noise lowers the rating: traffic, which eases around midnight, as does the music from the venue 50 m away. Then, from 1:30 to 4 a.m., a tractor cleans the beach, but that may not happen every day.
Free showers, toilets, and water-bottle filling. Beautiful beach as a bonus.
Clean area between the road and the sea. Parking separated from the road and quiet. Free cold showers available in the adjacent children's play area. Beach toilets nearby. Cost for one night: €20.
The beach is completely overcrowded with algae; we left after 40 minutes. Those 40 minutes cost me €20 in parking fees.
Good parking area right by the sea. The 12 spaces are paved and have electricity.
Excellent parking area opposite the sea. Electricity, water supply, wastewater disposal, efficient and clean toilets, a large children's playground, and several snack bars. I hope this area becomes an example for other places in Sardinia.
Warning: two major roads are nearby. The beach was absolutely uncleaned in May, with tons of algae. A new, clean restroom block. However, none of the electricity points was working, and the dirty-water drain is poorly aligned with the water point. Reasonable price for 24 hours.
Everything is under construction—the beach and the parking area are a nightmare! Run away! I had to pay €5 to get out! Thieves!
A nice camper site, with a very clean, fresh toilet and free electricity. Traffic gets busier around 6:30 in the morning. Great place.
I have rarely seen such a clean, pleasant-smelling toilet with toilet paper in Sardinia. The electricity also works if you flip the lever directly above the connection. The spaces are level, so no leveling blocks are needed, and you park in the front row by the sea. We did not have to pay anything at the machine. The only disadvantage is that you can hear the road and oil refinery from the pop-top roof.
Very convenient when arriving from the ferry in the evening.
The site is chargeable for motorhomes all year round. When entering, you receive a card at the barrier. Payment is made at a machine by the tourist information office, at the end of the parking area by the playground. Cameras record the license plates in the parking area.
We arrived in the evening after crossing Sicily and were immediately surprised by the cleanliness and the services available at the site. We can only recommend it.
We were here at the beginning of April. It was free at that time, and the electricity pillars also worked. After plugging in, each socket must be activated by switching the lever above it backward. Only then does electricity flow. The site is close to the road and the beach. Good for a site near town. Next door is “La miniera del Pesce,” a good restaurant.
A French person is a complainer: there was no electricity on any hookup, so I wanted to leave after 15 minutes. I found the payment office at the back near the playground, and they asked me for €12 because I was six minutes over the €5 billing period. I called the number three times and nobody answered. Excellent service. Free from September 30. We were alone in this parking area, repurposed as a swimming pool. Thanks for this Sardinian welcome.
Fresh-water filling and gray-water disposal in the drain. For black water, turn the round metal disk on the water post upward. The electricity posts did not work (Sunday?). Large parking area suitable for all types of campers—mine is 8 m—and no height restriction.
Very good place by the beach. The toilets are very clean. Bus line right outside for visiting Cagliari. However, beware of wooden posts in the area that do not have fluorescent strips and are hard to see at night. We paid €12.
Very good for a service area. Waste disposal, filling, and electricity. The toilets are really very clean. A huge children's play area at the end of the parking lot. There is also a small bar/beach nearby, which closes at 7 p.m. in late October. But noise from a nightclub not far away got the better of us, and we left around 2 a.m. to find somewhere quiet.
In October we paid €12 at the machine behind the playground by the tourist office. Gray and black water disposal and fresh-water filling are included. Plenty of space right by the sea. The only drawback was the overflowing rubbish bins.
We paid €5 to fill up with water and empty the gray and black water, staying for a maximum of 30 minutes. We also filled up with drinking water behind the tourist office. We did not stay any longer, but this is a rare place in the area where you can refill and empty at such a price.
It is indeed very clean. We found just one electrical hookup with four sockets, all already occupied—not important. At the entrance, my license plate was recorded, so payment of €12 was automatically due on exit (free for cars). Toilet and gray-water disposal and fresh-water filling, then off you go.
Clean parking area and facilities; the showers are beach showers next to the bar, and they are closed in October. Beach just behind. We spent one night; it was free.
Good parking area for visiting Cagliari by bus. Entry is only for vehicles up to 3.5 t according to the sign. A bus ticket costs €2.90, according to the tourist office. In Cagliari, we paid €1.90 for the return trip at the ticket counter. The bus stop is right next to the tourist office at the end of the large parking lot. Toilets were clean.
This is a great camping car park. Right on the beach with electricity. There is a road and refinery nearby so might not be everyone’s ideal location. As somewhere to park up next to a beach it is just fine.
The direct location on the beach is the only advantage. Audible road, strong smell, proximity to the industrial area, and spaces so small that there is not even room for a table and chair.
Convenient parking area for visiting Cagliari. There is a bus stop by the tourist center, which also has outdoor showers. The water is very cold, however, and the walk there feels like around half a kilometer from the site. At night, the road can be heard and there is occasionally a somewhat strong smell in the air.
Directly on the beach. Clean showers and toilets. We stayed for 24 hours and paid €3 including electricity, so practically free. The road opposite is somewhat noisy but perfectly tolerable. Many flamingos live nearby.
Great place, right on the beach. Spaces reserved for motorhomes with electricity. Toilet, which was really clean—thanks to those who came before us. The beach is perfectly fine. Supermarket and restaurant within walking distance. Thanks to the municipality.
Simple parking area with everything you need, directly in front of the beach. Highly recommended for visiting Cagliari.
A truly special location. I really enjoyed sleeping here; you are 15–20 minutes from central Cagliari and just a few steps from the beach and sea, with water and electricity available.
