A spacious, level grassy motorhome area somewhat hidden in a residential area; follow the signs for Schützenplatz. It is quiet and offers free water and waste disposal, but no electricity, while the toilets are closed. The site is beside an active shooting club, so gunfire can be heard. It is a good base for walking and cycling through the heath, with the swimming pool and a nearby aviation bridge museum.

The Airlift Museum nearby is very much worth seeing. We were completely alone here.
A great site with plenty of grass. Starting point for hiking and cycling around the “Heide.”
The site is very good, quiet, very level, and has lots of space. Waste and water facilities are available and free. We were there with three other vehicles and it was very quiet and pleasant. Anyone complaining about €10.50 per night should stay at home. We recommend Ingo's Grill, a fantastic snack bar with a very good selection of schnitzels, only a 10-minute walk away. Many thanks to the municipality.
Great site. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Anyone bothered by the sound of gunshots should do their research beforehand. Barracks = shooting range… Payment by PayPal was excellent.
A great site without electricity, right at the edge of the forest. Toilet closed, waste and water facilities operational. The site is closed due to events from 25 to 29 July 2024 and from 2 to 12 August 2024.

Beautiful quiet motorhome site on a meadow by the shooting club. Toilets available but locked. One rubbish bin. No grey-water drain. The cassette can be emptied and water collected, free of charge.

The site is great. Payment via PayPal was easy. Supply and disposal facilities are available. However, we left again in the morning because the shooting club next door apparently brought out the large weapons, and that is absolutely impossible with a nervous dog. If the shooting does not bother you, you can certainly have a good time here.
