A free riverside stopover with spacious parking, attractive views, birds and other wildlife, but no services. Traffic can be noisy until around 8pm and occasional loud cars or an HGV may arrive overnight, although the road is generally quiet later. It is best suited to a short overnight stay.

We spent the night very well.
Good place to be, we spent the night on a Saturday, a bit noisy until 8pm but quiet after that, woke up with birds and the breeze of the wind, we will definitely come back, no issues, no other cars, just peace
Great views and lots of space. Road quietens down by 10 till 8am. Mostly undisturbed but had some loud cars stop in the lay-by through the night and a HGV show up. Would stay there again though as overall the pros outweighed the cons

Lovely riverside views, slightly spoiled by an overflowing bin and road noise.
Shared with a couple of HGVs, view over the river was stunning to wake up to. Road noise not too bad overnight, but noticeable when it starts up again in the morning! A great little spot, the Lat/lon coordinates are spot on!
Nice spot. If you arrive early you can pick a prime spot to view wildlife
Excellent location. Even fishing tickets from Bailiff on the Bank if you want to try your luck. Bin was empty on my early morning stop off. Would use again.
