Riverside swimming, steep access

Lovely night by the Dordogne! We were alone and even went swimming in the river. Quiet place because the nearby road has little traffic. We really enjoyed the frogs singing in the evening and morning. A true little corner of paradise. Just be careful on the descent and ascent, which can be difficult with a very long vehicle.

Peaceful night beside the Dordogne. Lots of space and level ground; be careful not to block the hikers' path. The descent to the site is steep, so judge for yourself depending on your vehicle.

beautiful location , absolutely just by the river /woods ,it was so quiet through the night it was hard to believe,there's a single track bridge above that's starts to get a little traffic in the morning but nevertheless it's been a fantastic night's sleep

Really lovely spot, great if you have dogs. Access to the river. Nice and shady. Only negative was some road noise in the morning.

Very difficult access, even in a van. We continued on our way.

Very difficult access for a motorhome; really accessible only with vans. We did not even try to go down with our motorhome.

Lovely little spot for spending several nights. Pleasant and quiet. There is access to the Dordogne and the forest for walking.

Lovely spot for a nights stay. We were alone aside from some fishermen in the morning. No services. QM Take the small path right before the bridge, not the small parking lot. A bit bumpy on the way up and down but went well for our transit

Great place for swimming. Some traffic on the nearby road, but we had a lovely evening and a good night. Shade is available at any time of day.

Do not take the road through the small parking lot, but take a small descending road just before the bridge! In the end we parked on the other side of the road, where there is a larger grass field and small beach!
