A free, calm parking area in front of the Viking Center, with a swimming area 100m away and a replica Viking ship. Overnight parking is accepted for up to 24h, although there are no facilities. The place is relatively level, quiet and set back from the road.

We asked the owner if it was ok to park for a night and she welcomed us. There is a small souvenir shop in the center so we bought something small to support them. Nice and calm place. No facilities.
Quiet place at the Viking museum. The operator said it was no problem to stay here for 24 hours.
Great parking area for an overnight stay when passing through. The surface is relatively level. The night was quiet. In the morning, there is plenty of time to leave before the park opens.
Good place off the E route. Absolutely no facilities though, the bin on-site is strictly not for camping use. But a quiet space to sleep, relaxing and set back from the road. Good to explore the outside of the Viking centre, with a quick walk to the river. Museum opens at 11:00 so there is plenty of time to leave before the public arrive.
Beautiful, quiet motorhome stop with access to a swimming area and the Viking park. We spent a peaceful night here and went for a hike.
