Rua da Benta, 3100, Pombal
Been here?
A shaded picnic area with barbecues, a wood oven, sinks, tables, a playground, a stage and toilets. Recent visits found rubbish despite empty bins, very dirty toilets and no running water in most of the area. The parking is smaller than expected, with limited leveling space for larger motorhomes, and access is narrow. Occasional parties can create noise late into the night.

This place could be really lovely but despite the multiple empty trash cans there is trash all over the place. The toilets are very abused and dirty, there is no running water in most of the place. There was a birthday party so there was noise until late in the night. After that we did spend a peaceful night. Much wasted potential here, could have been an idyllic place.
March 2: the area was completely closed because of fallen trees caused by the storms. We continued on.Translating
certainly not a large parking area and not easy to level up with a larger motorhome without being in the way of others. Road to access this place is pretty narrow but not overly busy so not stressful. Hard gravel so good in wet weather as it is now. Lots of shade but overhanging trees may need some manoeuvring. waste bins, toilet and water available in season. Quiet overnight with little traffic.
Peaceful picnic area in the shade of the trees, with toilets and water points. Perfect for a lunch stop.Translating
Seems like construction is finished! Water, toilets and an oven. I even saw a power socket, though I did not test it. Enjoy, amigos.Translating

Very nice, quiet place near the motorway between Lisbon and Porto. Everything thoughtfully arranged and relatively clean. In summer, it is probably often used by locals.Translating
It is a picnic area among trees with a stream, quiet and pleasant. There is plenty of parking space, tables, barbecues, toilets and a children's playground. We stopped for a relaxed meal; it is an inviting place to stay for the day and sleep overnight.Translating
