Six marked spaces provide free 24 hour parking in town. Read the signs carefully, as the nearby truck parking is private and overnight parking is not allowed there. The correct spaces are generally quiet, although nearby venues can sometimes be noisy. Höganäs Brewery is next door, with restaurants and a nearby trash bin.

Okay for one night.
Attention! We were in the truck area. The night watchman sent us away at 11 p.m. and directed us to the parking area by the harbor. There is no possibility of staying overnight here in a motorhome!!!
Quiet place and town, at least in the fall. Trash bin close.
Lives up to its promise. Six campers side by side is not realistic, even though there are six parking spaces, but apart from us there was only one other vehicle. The pub next door is great for an after-work beer, with clean toilets included. We heard no noise at all; the wind was louder. Perfect place to spend the night for free.
Good parking area. There are a few establishments nearby that you can visit, or, as in our case over the weekend, their loud music may disturb you.
Great parking spaces—if you can find them; see the photo, the right-hand parking sign without restrictions. Realistically, only four or five motorhomes fit.
