Mountain area, busy road

Had some problem at the check-in, and ended up downloading the app twice. It's just a tarmac parking space right next to the road. Electricity is included but fresh water is not. Public toilets 150 m from the spot. Close to the lifts.✦Translating

Advantages: about 300 m from the French ski school, downhill and cross-country ski departures, and a public toilet; entirely paved, with new and functional water and electricity hookups. Disadvantages: beside the road, so noisy early in the morning; very popular, so often full during the winter season, even outside school holidays. Parking beside a road with lots of traffic day and night, with the ski slope about 200 m away, as well as toilets and bread in the resort. We were beneath the resort flags, which made noise at night in the wind. Water flow was extremely slow, and it was difficult to find a free electrical outlet. I had been coming to Les Saisies for 30 years to enjoy the cross-country and downhill ski slopes and the aquatic center. That is no longer possible now; the Camping-Car-Park reservation system is absurd. I have seen empty pitches elsewhere for four days while this area refused me entry for two nights, as happened in Royan. Fortunately, there are other, more sensible resorts, particularly in the Maurienne.✦Translating

Fantastic aire, well worth the money. Excellent waste emptying facilities, and the 6 amp electric hook ups work perfectly with no tripping issues. Pitches are well spaced out, which makes for a really comfortable stay. Almost ski-in/ski-out, perfectly located for winter sports, with great walks right from the aire. We spent three nights in a paved parking area. It is certainly very busy, but the nights are quiet. A very practical place if you enjoy mountain biking.
