Very quiet campsite in the low season. The new sanitary building is not finished yet, but the old one is still usable. The kiosk was unfortunately closed on Monday and Tuesday. The washing-up area is completely sufficient. You hardly notice the main road, only from six in the morning when people have to go to work. Perhaps a time-limited speed restriction could be introduced.✦Translating

Straightforward, rustic and cozy campsite with everything I needed. Excellent value for money. Hot shower, just as it should be. I came directly from the highly recommended Sondershausen mine tour. The lady at reception is very friendly and helpful. In general, I met only nice people here. Lots to do in the surrounding area. I would gladly return anytime.✦Translating

A journey back to the 1980s! Mostly well-preserved and well-maintained GDR equipment. Hardly found anywhere else today. We felt very comfortable at this rustic Ostalgie campsite.✦Translating

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will not find it here. Cars, motorcycles and music all day long! At night there was a long, loud fireworks display for a wedding! A warning about this would have been great....! ✦Translating

We arrived spontaneously. Beautiful, large site; all pitches are unmarked, and we stayed on a meadow directly by the water. One sanitary building is old, the other, at the back, is new. Spotlessly clean!! Friendly welcome! The restaurant is recommended, but accepts cash only. The reservoir has extremely little water, so swimming is not recommended because of the mud along the shore. A shame, hence one point deducted. We would return.✦Translating

We stayed here for two nights, on the large meadow overlooking the reservoir! Simply incredibly peaceful and beautiful! The staff were super friendly and the prices absolutely fair! If you still love proper camping, this is exactly the right place!✦Translating

Very nice campsite, good value for money. Very friendly welcome. Everything you need is included in the price. Choose your own pitch; beautiful idyllic site at the back of the meadow by the water. A lovely starting point for hikes and bike tours. I would happily return.✦Translating

There was plenty of space in mid-August. An incredible number of mosquitoes, but otherwise everything was excellent.✦Translating

We are staying here at the motorhome area in front of the campsite on 14 December 2024, 100 m from the observation point. Binoculars are free; it is fascinating to watch the cranes fly in. We are completely alone. €15, toilet and electricity included. The food in the restaurant tastes delicious, and the staff are super friendly. The site is excellent at this time of year.✦Translating

First time here and we can recommend it. Choose your own pitch. We stayed in the rear area. The newer sanitary building is excellent. Unfortunately, there were blue-green algae in the lake, so we did not go into the water. Those traveling with small children can use the small children's pool with slide at the neighboring beach resort. This is a good alternative to the reservoir. Very friendly staff.✦Translating
