What a gem! Not busy, and the campsite owner was incredibly kind when we arrived. We received a bag of dog treats for our dog. The sanitary facilities are dated but spotlessly clean. Other campsites could take an example from this. Do not forget your toilet roll. Payment is in cash, but you can also pay by bank transfer.
This smaller site impresses from the very first minute with its welcoming atmosphere. Great praise goes to the site manager, who makes the stay pleasant through his straightforward and helpful manner. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but impressively clean. Thanks to its location, the region is ideal for extensive bike rides along the Elbe.
We felt very comfortable at this campsite. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful and fulfilled all our wishes. The site is wonderfully quiet, very well maintained, and has beautiful old trees that create a special atmosphere. Anyone seeking relaxation and nature is in exactly the right place here. We would gladly return!
Friendly, small site where you immediately feel at home. Holger, the site manager, is straightforward and very helpful. The sanitary facilities are older but always clean. Service and disposal facilities work perfectly. There are many cycling routes along the Elbe from this site. A detour to Lüneburg is especially worthwhile. The price is fair and we highly recommend it.
A really beautiful and peaceful campsite with a spacious pitch for our camper. A very nice and helpful owner. And yes, the sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but always clean. We would definitely come back!
Great, quiet campsite with excellent cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Very nice owner. As already mentioned, the sanitary facilities are dated but always clean.
A quiet campsite on park-like grounds. The toilets are clean. We stayed here for two nights, went on a lovely bike ride along the nearby Elbe, and had a delicious meal at the Greek restaurant. We will be back.
Beautiful place in nature. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but well maintained and perfectly adequate.
Beautiful green campsite. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old but very well maintained. Maintenance work is underway. We will definitely come back.
Well-maintained site, all pitches on grass, very quiet. The sanitary facilities are dated but spotlessly clean. The best starting point for bike tours. Gladly again.
You could not end a vacation in a better way. We really enjoyed our time: very spacious pitches, wonderful natural shade, a warm welcome, and even the dogs were catered for. The Elbe is within walking distance, and Lauenburg can also easily be reached on foot or by bike. We felt very, very comfortable and say thank you! If we are in the area again, we will stop by.
Cozy campsite in beautiful surroundings with plenty of space. Nice sunny or shaded pitches, always on grass. Friendly and helpful owner. Dogs are welcome and receive a welcome gift. The sanitary building is older, but everything is clean and well maintained.
We spontaneously stayed one night with our three children at Thomas's place and it was really great! We were greeted personally and very warmly and were allowed to stay on the large meadow under a sky full of stars. There were not many people there, so everything felt very exclusive. The bathroom was older but extremely clean and well maintained—just bring your own toilet paper.
A wonderful place of peace and quiet! It feels like standing in a park. The owner is super nice, and you would have to do everything wrong to upset him. We were helped without any fuss and everything was explained very kindly. Definitely a beautiful, charming, and clean campsite. We would gladly come back!
If you like peace, nature, and traditional campsites, this is highly recommended. The owner is a genuinely friendly gentleman who helps you and provides good service. The sanitary facilities are reasonably clean, but by our standards they are really no longer acceptable. They function, but that is about all. I should also mention that this part of Germany is not a cyclist-friendly region. The cycle paths and roads are very poor.
