Clean & tidy site. £32/night for a non electric pitch ain’t the cheapest but the showers are now free! Easy walk to Plough & Harrow pub and bus stop with frequent services.
Arrogant welcome. We were not allowed to look at the site before booking and were politely informed that there are other campsites. £30 without electricity; with more friendliness, there is a place a few kilometers farther on with an even nicer view. We drove on.
It was nice, but we felt ripped off: the owner charged us £40 for one night, with showers costing an extra £0.50. We had a nice evening at the nearby pub with live music. Then construction work on new bungalows started at 8:00 a.m. What a shame!
Nice place, but the price in May 2023 was £40 for two people with electricity in a campervan. No place to empty gray water, and I emptied the toilet in the toilets. Large grassy area. Poor phone reception, even with a router.
Nice enough site but £30 for 1 night, 1 person and without ehu is a bit steep. Poor phone reception and no loo roll in toilet.
The site is well located. The toilets are very clean and the staff are very friendly.
