A small, unserviced forest pitch with a fire pit, sheltered from the wind and described as quiet and cosy. The latest report says there is plenty of space for many campers, although earlier visitors considered it better for 1 camper or 2 campervans close together. Please do not litter in nature.

Nice place but no highlights, the way up better a description. There is plenty of space for many campers. Do not litter in nature.
Because of windy top we used this little sheltered (fire) place. Nice, silent and cosy. Not for 3 campers, more 1 camper or 2 campervans (if they stand close together).
I preferred this place to the summit because of the rain and wind. It is relatively sheltered from the wind here. The view would certainly be great if everything were not covered in clouds. Incidentally, the summit used to be an airfield.
