A quiet, flat concrete picnic area beside road 254, close to Landeyjahöfn. Recent visitors have stayed overnight without problems, with little traffic and no vehicles reported after 21:00. The table has been removed, and there is no protection from strong wind.

Actually a beautiful place. Unfortunately, some fellow campers use the riverbank to dispose of their chemical toilets.
Spent one night without being disturbed. Arrived at 11 p.m., little traffic, flat paved parking area.

A very good place. We stayed with the camper and did not feel cold or any wind. We were able to eat outside while admiring the stars. I liked it a lot; a very peaceful place.

We spent one night in this parking area. The view is very nice, slightly set back from the road. We were not disturbed. One of the few spots in the area.
