It is suitable for a daytime break or nearby walks, but the area can become busy, especially at weekends. Recent visitors were asked by police or forest wardens to leave, and overnight parking has been prohibited in practice.

Great spot to spend the night in the forest and go for a hike in the morning. Spots are not entirely level, but good enough. When we stayed there was one other camper staying over (mid June), and many people passing with dogs/bikes during the morning and evening. Drinking fountain about 25 min walk on the hike. Would stay again!
