Unnamed Road, 8100, Loulé
Been here?
This wild spot sits on a small hill in nature, with views over the mountains, a nearby pond and attractive sunsets. Access is easy by concrete road, but the ground is sloped and the area around the pond can be muddy. Recent comments also report considerable litter, and one stay is recommended for one night rather than longer.

Wow, beautiful place in nature, parked beside the small lake with a view of the mountains and a lovely sunset. Please keep this place clean!
Very easy to access because the path is concrete. Nice view. Good for one night, no more. It is not flat. Around the pond is better, but it is muddy there. I made the mistake of walking there—the mud sticks like a sole. And with dogs, don't even get me started… A car stayed for two hours with everything switched off.
Very dirty place, didn't felt safe there
Magnificent spot, but unfortunately increasingly dirty… In just 15 minutes I picked up cans, wrappers, plastic bottles, toilet paper, and wipes—almost a 30-liter bag. Locals come here to walk their dogs every day, and you can understand their frustration. Please respect nature and take your rubbish with you, otherwise these places will eventually be closed to everyone.
Very beautiful spot, clean toilets, very quiet, with lovely scenery. Five to ten minutes by bike from the sea.
Very pleasant spot with a small view over the valley and the pond next to it. However, the place was littered with rubbish, and we spent 15 minutes picking up only one-fifth of all the bottles and waste on the site.
Very beautiful spot; we spent a peaceful night here. Beautiful sunset. Be aware that the wind is definitely noticeable!
This platform slopes no matter which direction you park. It is also noisier and much less sheltered from the wind than 250 meters farther down, at the bend in the road, on a smaller platform that is flat and gravel-covered, where silence reigns.
Superb views and a very quiet night
As mentioned previously, a very good spot. We spent a good night here.
Very beautiful, peaceful place, although in bad weather you are exposed to a lot of wind. Unfortunately, we still had to pick up some rubbish.
Beautifully quiet with a beautiful view, but a lot of rubbish. We collected and took away a whole bag of rubbish. It probably will not stay litter-free for long.
Excellent place to spend the night. Very beautiful view and peaceful. Large area that can accommodate several travelers. However, there are many moderate slopes, making it difficult to level up, especially for rooftop tents.
Magnificent and isolated place, please respect it! There is room for two vans or one motorhome on the left as you arrive, plus two more van spaces around the water point.
This place is TOP; it is a shame that some people do not respect it—litter is scattered everywhere. Space for one van to be most comfortable ;-) but the site can accommodate two or three vans.
Fantastic place. Beautiful view over the valley and a wonderful sunset. Two or three small campers can fit in this scenic spot, but there is room for more with a slightly less beautiful view. You can also drive farther along the gravel road, where there are several more places. We did have to clean up quite a bit of toilet paper left by others. That is a shame—you should not leave the place like that.
A super-quiet place to spend the night. Incredible sunset. Try to come up via the paved section. Note that there are no bins. Pick up your rubbish. Highly recommended!
Magnificent spot! And very easy to access.
Great pitch. Beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise. A pleasant breeze. We spent an undisturbed night. No mosquitoes.
Very beautiful. Please keep it clean! Do not go to the toilet in the bushes, and take your food scraps with you. Enjoy the view and sunset!
