It is good for hiking and overnight stays, with some walkers and dog walkers during the day.

No fees or prohibition signs. A beautiful, quiet hiking parking area directly on the Altmühltal Panorama Trail. Both sunny and shaded spaces are available. The approach from Beilngries is very steep, 15% over approximately 1 km.

Quite close to the road, but it does not bother you because there is hardly any traffic. Otherwise perfect as an overnight stop.

Really great place to spend the night. Theoretically, quite a few people could fit here, but I think it is good not to use the full capacity. As always, I picked up litter. The noise level was acceptable.
